TOP 10 PREMIER LEAGUE SIGNINGS (2022/2023) SO FAR

in Sports Talk Social2 years ago (edited)

The Premier League has undoubtedly been among the finest in football because, in contrast to other leagues, it is never easy to predict the winner (remember when Leicester won the league? I suppose nobody anticipated that) The league has consistently ranked first among leagues in terms of largest spenders, due to its activity during the transfer windows.

The transfer window has been open since June 10, 2022, and it will close on September 1, 2022. Although it hasn't closed yet, there have been many transfers, and I will be choosing the ten best transfers, focusing solely on the premier league.The top ten transfers thus are shown below, from lowest to highest;

10 OLEKSANDRE ZINCHENKO ( Manchester city to Arsenal)

Zinchenko joined Arsenal. His presence in Arsenal will benefit his new squad by adding several traits including leadership, a winning mindset, dependability, adaptability, and more for 30 million euros plus 2 million euros based on his performance. You may read more about it in the detail I covered in my earlier blog. Zinchenko desired greater playing time, thus I believe that moving to Arsenal was a wise move for both teams. Arsenal receives what they wanted, while Manchester City profits from his sale. Additionally, he is inexpensive compared to Lisandro Martinez, who has never played in the Premier League.

9 RAHEEM STERLING ( Manchester city to Chelsea)

Sterling was acquired by Chelsea from Manchester City for 47.5 million euros. Because of his expertise in the league from playing for Liverpool, Manchester City, and now Chelsea, his addition to Chelsea will aid in resolving the attacking issues the team has faced since the departure of Eden Hazard. I think he will adapt quickly to his new squad, mentor the younger players, score lots of goals, and win trophies . He is young and eager to accomplish more. If necessary, he is also capable of playing as a striker. He and Eden Hazard share a lot of characteristics in my opinion, most notably his dribbling.

8 JESSE LINGARD (Manchester United to Nottingham forest)

LINGARD was given a free transfer to Nottingham Forest. Nottingham Forest will greatly benefit from that. LINGARD was the kind of player that needed to play frequently in order to perform at his best; he did so, for instance, while playing for West Ham United. Due to the abundance of attacking options available to the team, Manchester United were unwilling to offer him that playing time. He will be the leader of his new team, which will give him more confidence and help him stand out.

7 Philip Coutinho ( Barcelona to Aston Villa)

With nineteen games played, five assists, and three goals scored while on loan with Aston Villa, Coutinho has now been acquired by Aston Villa for a cost of 17 million euros. Given that he struggled at Barcelona, that was a respectable performance from him. I think he will play well and score lots of goals in the upcoming season.

6 Lisandro Martinez ( Ajax to Manchester United)

Martinez was acquired by Manchester United for 46.5 million euros. His work with Ajax during the previous season was exceptional and helped the team win the title. His versatility, which allows him to play as a left back, defensive midfielder, and center defense, will help him succeed at his new team.

I will continue with the final five lists in my forthcoming blog. Please mention players who you believe are good inclusive to their new club in the comments section.

Yes . That was a typographical error and I have corrected it. Thanks for the correction.

It will be out soon. It’s my pleasure

Its about to go down

Yes oh! I miss the fun of watching live football, though they have been pre-season but that can’t be compared to the real matches.

I felt like Coutinho really needed that transfer away from Barcelona for the sake of his career.
I would have loved it if Lingard was transferred to West ham utd cuz I don't really see him doing much at forest, but good luck to him all the same.

Sometimes a player performance depends on his club, COUTINHO was fantastic at Liverpool and the opposite at Barcelona. I believe LINGARD will also perform well at Nottingham forest provided he his given enough playing time. Wishing him good luck as well but not against Arsenal 😁

I think Raheem Sterling will restore the spirit of Eden Hazard that Chelsea have been missing for so long in their attack.

That’s my thought too. Thanks for reading.

Seems you are a Chelsea fan

Joe Aribo to Southampton from Rangers !

That’s also a wonderful signing, his goal against Villarreal is already a contender for the goal of the season. Let’s see if he will make it to my top 5🤔

I think Arsenal would enjoy the presence of Zinchenko and Sterling making a positive impact in the Chelsea squad. And for Martinez I hope Manchester would have a better season this time so he can enjoy his stay.
Good job the great Shamzy. ✌️
