Sailing is super fun but it can be a bit intimidating to get into for a newbie. I started working as a chef on a big sailing boat in my 20s and that was where I was introduced to sailing. Now I have raced, cruised, sailed and worked on all kinds of sailing boats, from wooden schooners to carbon fiber racing yachts and everything in between. If there is a yacht club near you I would suggest starting to drink down there and before long you will be out on someones boat enjoying the wind and water....) Where are you based?

I'm in Chicago and as you may know, there is a huge lake right next to us. There is some level of sailing that takes place there... maybe one day I'll have a wander down there to see about some lessons and move up from there.

Speaking of boats and large water bodies, I'm not a fan and I've only travelled on water just once.

You got to try it brother - its just super fun and u can wear a life jacket.

Hopefully, I will
