The NBA regular season just reached its climax, and the playoff picture is now clear.
12 teams qualified automatically to the playoffs, with six from the Western conference, and six from the Eastern conference.
The 12 teams that have qualified for the playoffs are: the Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis grizzlies, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics, Utah Jazz and Toronto Raptors.
The play-in tournament, which was developed a little more recently, gives opportunities to more teams, to be a part of the playoffs.
This year, the Los Angeles clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans pelicans and San Antonio spurs have qualified for the play-in tournament from the Western Conference, while Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, and Cleveland Cavaliers have qualified from the **Eastern conference.

This surprise exit was probably the Los Angeles Lakers, because on paper they have a good roster, but inconsistency and injuries did not help them.

The favorites to win the NBA this season will probably be the Milwaukee bucks, and with the return of Kyrie Irving, maybe the Brooklyn Nets.
My favorites, the Golden State Warriors could also be in contention, because Stephen Curry will be back for the playoffs, and hopefully we can regain the form we are used to seeing them in.
