For me,Conte is by nature forthright and insists on his terms. Daniel Levy wouldn't have signed him(on the second time of asking), if he hadn't agreed to play ball. Paratici's signing was a huge statement too.
So the January signings were already more than enough proof to me that Tottenham has changed it's transfer strategy.
