Indeed even if some matches have been a bit weird. I never understood why players value more Rome tournament in terms of « must win » tournament. Any ideas?
Even Nadal currently playing is not as a beast as I am sure he will be at Rome.

Because it's an ATP Tour Masters 1000 event and it's on clay. Nadal is said to be the king of clay, which I don't agree with by the way.
ATP Masters 1000 counts a lot as the number of points you can get is high.
I do know that but Madrid is also an ATP 1000 on Clay but Top player seem to undermine vs Rome.
I also know that Rome is the last one before Roland Garros which is obviously the most important.
Rome will be a lot of fun, especially after what's happened in Madrid. I'm not sure if you saw Alcaraz Garfia sending home both Nadal and Djokovic 😃
