Let's talk about ufc 270 which is happening this weekend, In the main event we have Francis Ngannou vs Ciryl Gane and the in co-main event we have Brandon Moreno vs Deiveson Figueiredo.
Brandon Moreno vs Deiveson Figueiredo
This is the third time they are fighting, the first fight was a war which ended as a draw.Figueiredo would win if not for the illegal blow for which a point was taken.In the second fight Figueiredo had a bad weightcut so bad that after making weight he cried.And Moreno dominated the fight and got the victory through rear naked choke in the 3rd round.I think this time Deiveson is wining he fight, he also changed his camp and is training with Herny Cejudo who is also a former traning partner of Moreno.
In the second fight Figueiredo gave Moreno a lot of respect and was not marching like the first fight which allowed Moreno to establish his jab and dominate the fight.This time i think Figueiredo is not giving Moreno the respect is coming to take his head off, the weight cut is also going very smooth and we can see Figueiredo is very shredded this time.I like Moreno a lot he is very happy jolly kinda guy and is a savage in the ring but i think Figueiredo is taking the win this time.Whoever wins the fight, the fight is going to be awesome and i am excited to see the fight.
Francis Ngannou vs Ciryl Gane
This fight is also very interesting former training partners who trained for a short period of time like 3 months.One is a powerhouse who hits harder than a sledge hammer,Francis has the record for the most powerful punch 120,000 units and a sledge hammer generates 100,000 in full force which is insane and Francis timing and shot selection is also great , the Overeem uppercut out of nowhere, the Stipe short left hook very good timing. And another is a technical wizard, not only his footwork is great his fight iq, shot selection and stamina is also great. Ciryl is a full package from standing to ground he can finish the fight anywhere.In the leaked sparring footage we can see Ciryl playing Francis but in the fight that dynamic changes as in sparring Francis cannot use his main weapon which is power so obviously Ciryl is going to dominate him but in the fight one strike from Francis is going to end the fight like we have seen before.A lot of people are saying either it's a knock out from Francis or a decison win from Ciryl but i think Ciryl can finish the fight like he did against derrick.If Ciryl can take the fight to the ground and leg lock him,he can end the fight pretty quickly.I would like to see Ciryl wining the fight just because i want to see technique wining rather than power because that is the whole point of martial arts but again this is a heavy weight fight and a single punch can change the fight also the opponent is Francis the hardest hitting guy on the planet.I am also very surprised seeing the odds Ciryl is the favorite,i think in this fight the odds should be equal no favorite as anybody can win.
