Hola hoy les comparto en esta comunidad el mantenimiento sencillo de una maquina de coser SINGER. En la mayoría de los hogares hay una máquina, modelos pequeños, grandes, antiguos o muy nuevos e incluso los más fáciles de usar y sacar de apuros, según sea el caso.

Les compartiré como mantengo la limpieza y engrasado de la máquina de coser que tengo en casa, es prácticamente un regalo de mi mamá, pues ella me la dejó aquí y yo soy quien la uso cuando ella no está.

Para realizar el mantenimiento, primero debemos utilizar cepillo, el que tengan a mano, que sea suave para poder sacar todo el polvo de la máquina, en las pequeñas ranuras o aberturas de cada pieza.

Retiramos esta base blanca, para posteriormente poder ubicar la bobina de esta máquina y así limpiarla, con el cepillo o cepillo. Cuando las máquinas pasan mucho tiempo en constante trabajo, suelen almacenar una especie de pelusa o polvo y para el mantenimiento preventivo debemos ocuparnos de limpiarlas.

Podemos utilizar el cepillo y limpiar por encima, donde se encuentra internamente el "Bobina" de la máquina, o mejor aún, para una mejor limpieza, retirar todas las piezas que quedan debajo de la bobina. Por lo tanto lo haremos de esta manera:

Al abrir, retiramos la "Bobina" y procedemos a pasar el cepillo, retirando el exceso de pelusa que podemos ver, al igual que en la propia parte externa de la máquina, a través de la tapa blanca.

Podemos ver dos dientes negros, o sujetadores de color negro en ambos lados. Procedemos a girar uno a la izquierda y el otro a la derecha, de esta forma se podrán retirar las siguientes piezas, que siempre van detrás de la "Bobina".
We can see two black teeth, or black colored bras on both sides. We proceed to turn one to the left and the other to the right, in this way the following pieces can be removed, which always go behind the "Coil."
Retiramos las dos piezas y procedemos a pasar el cepillo eliminando cualquier resto de pelusa o suciedad. La forma en que los muestro, van uno encima del otro. Esta es la orden para que regresen a la máquina de coser.
We remove the two pieces and proceed to pass the brush removing any residue of lint or dirt.The way I show them, they go on top of each other. This is the order for them to snap back into the sewing machine.
Seguimos limpiando con el cepillo, dejando todo limpio, como debe ser, y así terminar la primera parte del trabajo en la máquina de coser, principalmente en la ubicación de la "Bobina".
We continue to clean with the brush, leaving everything clean, as it should be, and thus finish the first part of the work on the sewing machine, mainly in the location of the "Bobbin".
Ahora, fue el turno de usar el aceite, en la parte central de la pieza. Pueden ver la cantidad deseada, que con poco ya está lista.

Cuando ya hemos añadido el aceite, procedemos a devolver las piezas de metal a su lugar de origen, de la misma manera que las retiramos, encajándolas perfectamente y luego cerrando las orejitas o "pasadores" negros que se encuentran en ambos extremos.
When we have already added the oil, we proceed to return the metal pieces to their place of origin, in the same way that we removed them, fitting them perfectly and then closing the little ears or black "pins" that are found at both ends.

Cómo queremos hacer un mantenimiento un poco más profundo, o como lo hago yo, de forma sencilla pero funcional. Entonces, vamos a la parte superior, donde se coloca la tela. Retiramos con el destornillador plano, los dos tornillos que hay en la tapa metálica.

En esta parte es super sencillo, solo debemos comenzar limpiando con la escobilla o cepillo, para quitar la suciedad de la misma manera y luego de esto comenzamos a ver el engranaje, para agregar la grasa o aceite en las partes correspondientes. Puede mover la parte de la aguja hacia arriba y hacia abajo para darle movimiento a medida que engrasa. Ya está, volvemos a poner la tapa y el tornillo.
In this part it is super simple, we just have to start cleaning with the brush or brush, to remove the dirt in the same way and after this we begin to see the gear, to add the grease or oil in the corresponding parts. You can move the needle part up and down to give it movement as you grease. That's it, we put the cover and the screw back on.
Esta parte está lista, pero bueno, hay que probar la máquina y más que eso, como sugerencia, se debe usar un trozo de tela para probar las puntadas y verificar el goteo de aceite, de esta manera no dañan la tela que se utiliza para una terminación más alta, es decir para una costura perfecta. En esta prueba ha goteado un poco sobre el paño rojo y lo sigo moviendo hasta que ya no gotea aceite y listo.

In this test, it has dripped a little on the red cloth and I keep moving it until it no longer drips oil and that's it.
