RE: 2023 BMW M2 revealed and there is an optional manual transmission

in Hive Motors2 years ago

Oh man, it's got rev matching? That's nice lol it was always something I knew of but didn't know how to do for a while. Eventually I learned how to do it when I was driving with a friend of mine at the time and he was like whoa dude why aren't you rev matching?! Then I learned lol.

The car looks pretty badass! I've loved the M series but I can't afford it lol so I just admire it.

Personally I love the boxy look of cars, the newer cars are shit but the M2 here is my style for sure.

Sort:

Good ol' blipping the throttle.

I can't safely afford this either, not yet at least. I can't help but love M cars though, they are undeniably cool.

Boxy cars have never bothered me. Although I love curves just as much, I can appreciate both.

Yeah I'm missing having a manual transmission! So much fun, even if it’s not a sports car. I was lucky in that I had a pretty sweet turbocharged car not sure if I showed you what it was but it’s this sexy beast. Was a great way to learn how to drive a stick!

I had a 5 speed truck afterwards too and that was nice to have and fun to drive even if it didn’t have the nice turbo on it, was cool to rev match. I’m hoping to get another manual in the next year or two!

No I didn’t know you had an SS. My buddy from like 10 years ago had one of those and his was tuned up to be a freaking monster. Those cars are sleepers. Especially the turbocharged one like you and him had, supercharged one just isn’t as good.
