Greetings friends, how are you? Well today I'm going to show you how I finished assembling a new model Ford 3-51 Wilson engine which is mounted on a 3-50 Ford truck year 1974, of course the engine was already assembled to a three-quarter and only missing the cameras and their parts, has also the dressing room.
Here I will also show you the step by step of what was to continue assembling what was missing from this engine, it was also painted to make it look a little more aesthetic. In many workshops do not do it and I do not criticize it but in my case I like to do it because it draws much attention from customers and gives a good name to the workshop and those who work in it. I started by placing the gaskets of the cameras and having everything well clean, then I placed the cameras and by God how heavy these cameras 🥵🥵, after placing the cameras I proceeded to twist each screw from the middle out and gave a torque of 90 pounds which is what I usually place them, after that I place the dressing room that was previously painted.
After that I started to paint the engine of a sky blue color, I clarify that Ford brought its engines in two characteristic colors which are sky blue and gray, mostly the engines assembled in Mexico came in gray and the American engines in sky blue, in my case I did not have much to choose from but I had the sky blue and another blue also, to the valve covers I threw an aluminum color to give it another appearance.
It is not easy to make an engine here in Venezuela because of the high cost of spare parts but there are people like this customer who was saving for several months to be able to buy everything he was going to need and it is worth mentioning that he was short of money because some parts were very expensive. I tell you that when the customer arrived at the shop and saw the engine he was impressed and said "Is that the engine of my car? He could not believe it.
Well friends I hope you also like the final result of this work done.

Excelente amigo.
Gracias brother por tu apreciación
