Amazing and so heart warming. Children are innocent, the world is cruel, not enough is done for these little ones. Forget old people, we have had our time on earth always look after the little ones first. I could never attend an event like this I would be blubbering and my heart would be breaking.
Sometimes when I am bored I catch a game show maybe, on TV and it so winds me up when a contestant (sorry, usually women) introduce themselves and add in words like "and I am 88 yrs old" and the moronic audience bursts into applause and whooping. So what? SO EFFING what? Old people? nah, the scamdemic lockdown was put in place here in the UK to protect these coffin dodgers, meanwhile children's education and mental health suffered. Not right not good not clever. I am still angry!
and it is still only Monday, have a good week.
Aww - you had kind heart. I was happy to be there as a supporter but I must say this was my second time and I am always heart broken. The last time was with terminally ill children. (I just add that to my post). That was heavy for me.
I know how you feel about the whole lockdown. I felt the exact same. I saw the impact on my children and I can imagine that it was worse for some - especially if their parents are avid tv watchers. I tried to keep the fear away.
I can understand that you are still angry - the effects are surfacing even now.
The best part about this post is that the children went home happy. They now have a fantastic story to savor and share with their friends. This ending can change the start to your Monday. Have a good week as well. 😀
It is good that they went home happy, let's hope that it stays with them and fires their ambitions to achieve their dreams, even if it is just 1 or 2 of them
