Greetings to all those who in one way or another make life in this community. We are doubly happy because Hive is celebrating its anniversary, and Hivemotors is also celebrating its second anniversary on March 19th. In this anniversary week we want to thank all those who during these two years have accompanied us in this fabulous journey and passion for engines and repairs. To celebrate we invite you to join us through a new contest.

Estamos doblemente felices porque Hive está de aniversario, y Hivemotors también también lo está, ya que cumplimos nuestro segundo aniversario el 19 de Marzo. En esta semana aniversario queremos agradecer a todos aquellos que durante estos dos años nos han acompañado es este fabuloso viaje y pasión por los motores y reparaciones. Para celebrarlo les invitamos a que nos acompañen a través de un nuevo concurso.
What is it about?
We want you to share with us those experiences that have made you grow as a mechanic or repairer. Time doesn't pass in vain and what has happened to us, whether it has been positive or not, we have learned from it, and now we are better technicians, mechanics or repairers.
If you aren't a mechanic or technician, your experiences are also valuable to us, we are sure that your experiences related to mechanics or household electronics at home, taught you a lot, maybe to be more cautious or to schedule maintenance, so we also want you to participate and tell us about your experience.
¿De qué se trata?
Queremos que compartan con nosotros aquellas experiencias que les han hecho crecer como mecánicos o reparadores. El tiempo no pasa en vano y aquello que nos ocurrió sea positivo o no, de eso aprendimos y ahora somos mejores técnicos, mecánicos o reparadores.
Si no eres mecánico o técnico, tus experiencias también son valiosas para nosotros, estamos seguros que tus vivencias con relación a la mecánica o electrodomésticos en casa, te enseñaron mucho, quizás a ser más precavido o programar mantenimiento, por eso deseamos que también participes y nos cuentes tu experiencia.

Wow, I am not a mechanic though but I love machinery. I am new to this community can I also participate in this great contest??
You don't have to be a mechanic. Maybe you have serviced or repaired an appliance at home, and you can tell us about your experience learning how to do it yourself. Also if you have a motorbike or a vehicle and you have had to do it yourself. We want you to tell us what made you grow as a repairer or what made you do it.

@hive-motors quick question... I saw everyone had something similar to sparkplug removal and replacement or something similar.. I read through the post now and I don't see anything that states it to be about a certain topic... I just posted but I'm not sure if I may qualify for the contest xD

What exactly is your post?
Its basically of things that I've learned in my short time as a technician....
That I believe genuine parts are better and do last longer... And that when something is removed...go the extra mile to clean things up... Aswell as go the extra mile to remove two or three bolts extra not to force or wedge something out of place... Aswell as when you've got a oil leak to attend to the problem as soon as you can rather then leaving it to cause a bigger problem.... Starting with the hardest work first.
Etc.. Etc.. But I didn't say all that in a specific paragraph... I divided it into subsections as I wrote the post of a service that I did with my car... So it's stretched through my whole post.
