Hola que tal amigos espero que se encuentren muy bien, me anime a participar en el evento creado por la comunidad de Hive Motors, en esta ocasión les vengo a contar un poco sobre mi experiencia como ayudante mecánico la cual me ayudo a aprender muchas cosas sobre los automóviles, sin más empecemos.
Hello friends I hope you are very well, I was encouraged to participate in the event created by the Hive Motors community, this time I come to tell you a little about my experience as a mechanical assistant which helped me learn many things about cars, without further ado let's start.
Experiencia Adquirida / Experience Gained
La verdad nunca me imagine que iba a trabajar como ayudante mecánico, fue hace dos años aproximadamente en aquel entonces no tenia empleo y fue mi cuñado el que me dio empleo ya que el es mecánico con más de 15 años de experiencia en la materia.
Pues bien al principio no sabía absolutamente nada de mecánica, ni siquiera que era una bujía pero poco a poco el me fue explicando y con practica pude aprender muchas cosas, los primeros días comencé a limpiar bujías y observaba como ellos en el taller trabajaban y me sentía inútil al porque solo limpiaba las bujías y pasaba herramientas pero quería hacer algo mas ya que no es mi estilo solo estar allí sentado o parado en un sitio.
Al pasar unas semanas comenzó a explicarme más a fondo y me enseño a cambiar el aceite y filtro de un Toyota Corolla, trabajo que no me resulto tan complicado y me pareció algo fácil, luego de limpiar bujías comencé con el cambio de filtro y aceite ya iba aprendiendo un poco mas y le estaba cogiendo cariño al trabajo ya que cada vez tenía más ganas de aprender y estudiar la mecánica.
The truth is that I never imagined that I was going to work as a mechanic assistant, it was about two years ago, at that time I had no job and it was my brother in law who gave me a job since he is a mechanic with more than 15 years of experience in the field.
Well at the beginning I knew absolutely nothing about mechanics, not even what was a spark plug but little by little he was explaining me and with practice I could learn many things, the first days I started to clean spark plugs and watched how they worked in the workshop and I felt useless because I only cleaned the spark plugs and passed tools but I wanted to do something else because it is not my style just sitting there or standing in one place.
After a few weeks he began to explain more in depth and taught me to change the oil and filter of a Toyota Corolla, work that was not so complicated and I found it easy, after cleaning spark plugs I started with the change of filter and oil and I was learning a little more and I was getting fond of the work as each time I had more desire to learn and study the mechanics.
Siguieron pasando los meses y seguí aprendiendo y fue un reto para mí cambiar los terminales de dirección de un Ford EcoSport anteriormente ya había visto como era el proceso pero una cosa es observa y otra es ponerlo en práctica entonces aliste las herramientas, las llaves, rachet y los dados para comenzar el trabajo, con la ayuda del gato hidráulico levante la camioneta, la cual reposo en lo que nosotros llamamos burros aquí en Venezuela un soporte de metal.
Luego de haber quitado las ruedas delanteras, comencé con el desarme, era un poco duro para salir el terminal por lo cual se le tenía que dar un golpe para que así saliera, recuerdo que para no afectar la alineación tuve que marcar y contar cuantas vuelta dio al salir el terminal de la dirección, acto seguido remplace los terminales de dirección viejo por unos nuevo y volví a armar, en ese momento me sentí genial ya que era mi primer cambio y fue realizado con éxito aunque mi cuñado estaba atento mientras hacia el cambio.
Siguieron los meses pero se me presento otra oportunidad de trabajo la cual aproveche, pero puedo decir que tuve una buena experiencia y aunque aprendí cosas básicas para mí son muy importantes al momento de tener un automóvil
Months continued to pass and I continued learning and it was a challenge for me to change the steering ends of a Ford EcoSport previously I had seen how the process was but one thing is to observe and another is to put it into practice then enlist the tools, keys, rachet and dice to start the job, with the help of the hydraulic jack I lifted the truck, which rested on what we call donkeys here in Venezuela a metal support.
After removing the front wheels, I started with the disassembly, it was a little hard to get out the terminal so it had to be given a blow to get it out, I remember that not to affect the alignment I had to mark and count how many turns it gave to leave the terminal of the direction, then replace the old steering terminals for new ones and reassembled, at that time I felt great because it was my first change and was done successfully although my brother in law was attentive while I was doing the change.
Months went by but I was presented with another job opportunity which I took advantage of, but I can say that I had a good experience and although I learned basic things for me are very important when owning a car.
Y esta fue mi experiencia como ayudante mecánico, creo que todos los días aprendemos un poco más y que a futuro nos pueden ayudar en cualquier momento, además que la mecánica creo que es fundamental al menos aprender lo básico ya que con ese conocimiento te salvara el bolsillo y tu tiempo más de una vez.
And this was my experience as a mechanical assistant, I think that every day we learn a little more and that in the future can help us at any time, besides the mechanics I think it is essential to at least learn the basics because with that knowledge will save your pocket and your time more than once.

Gracias por la bienvenida amigo, la verdad es que si cuanto mas aprendes mas quieres saber e incluso no se si te pasa a ti pero te propones una meta de armar tu propio auto.
Me gusto la comunidad ya que puedes tocar varios puntos interesando dul mundo motor y compartir tus proyectos caceros desde reparar un microondas hasta reparar un barco, tenemos muchos temas que tocar y abrir debates en la comunidad. espero seguir subiendo contenido por aquí.
Si... eso de construir un auto me quedo pendiente jajaja, pero todos los que he tenido les puse mucho corazón modificando y personalizando al detalle 😁

Hola, gracias por contarnos tu historia, es de gran ayuda tener conocimiento básicos de mecánica para así trabajar en nuestros propios vehículos y ahorrar algo de dinero en mantenimiento, por ejemplo. Así mismo, hay quienes suelen ser engañados por sus mecánicos, por ello es bueno siempre saber algo al respecto para así evitar esto.
