Todo comienza cuando me dispongo a ir a la ciudad vecina para hacer unas diligencias, el trayecto son 60 km, aproximadamente 60 min de viaje, lo único malo que en el recorrido hay 52 reductores de velocidad, aquí en mi tierra se les llama coloquialmente policías acostados (su comparación se las dejo a su imaginación), debido a que la carretera pasa por varios poblados, por lo que se tiene que frenar muchas veces.
It all starts when I get ready to go to the neighboring city to do some errands, the journey is 60 km, approximately 60 minutes of travel, the only bad thing is that on the route there are 52 speed bumps, here in my land they are colloquially called lying policemen (I leave the comparison to your imagination), because the road passes through several villages, so you have to brake many times.
Mi automóvil es un Corsa año 1998, 2 puertas desde mi punto de vista el mejor carro del mundo, potente, versátil, duradero y muy económico en todos los sentidos, prácticamente es una extensión de mi cuerpo, lo he usado en todo lo que se puedan imaginar desde camión hasta carro 4x4, es parte de la familia.

Como todo carro con cierto tiempo, se le van dañando sus piezas, he tratado en lo posible de írselas cambiando, pero específicamente nunca le había reparado la bomba de frenos, como 3 días antes de salir para la ciudad vecina, yo si sentía el pedal del freno extraño, no estaba como era el, pero igual no le di mucha importancia.
Like any car with some time, its parts are damaged, I have tried as much as possible to change them, but specifically I had never repaired the brake pump, about 3 days before leaving for the neighboring city, I did feel the brake pedal strange, it was not as it was, but still I did not give much importance.
El día que me dispongo a salir a la ciudad vecina, lo cargo de combustible y salgo al recorrido, ese día estaba lloviendo un poco, por lo que le trayecto de ida duro un poco más, ya cuando me faltaban unos 5 km para llegar, en un reductor de velocidad cuando iba a frenar el pedal de freno se fue hasta el fondo sin poder frenar el carro, de una vez supe que mis sospechas eran ciertas, se había dañado la bomba de frenos, específicamente una de las gomas internas de la bomba se había roto y no permitía mantener la presión en la misma, sin pensarlos dos veces recorte con la caja de velocidad y me apoye con el freno de mano, luego de lograr detener el carro, me baje para revisar que había pasado y si la bomba de frenos estaba fallando.
The day I get ready to leave to the neighboring city, I load it with fuel and go to the route, that day it was raining a little, so the outward journey lasted a little longer, and when I was about 5 km to arrive, in a speed reducer when I was going to brake the brake pedal went to the bottom without being able to stop the car, once I knew that my suspicions were true, the brake pump had been damaged, specifically one of the internal rubber of the pump had broken and did not allow to maintain the pressure in it, without thinking twice I cut with the gearbox and I leaned with the hand brake, after I managed to stop the car, I got off to check what had happened and if the brake pump was failing.
Como ya estaba llegando al sitio para hacer mis diligencias, continúe sin frenos y con mucha precaución, después de terminarlas de hacer, fui para varias ventas de repuestos para ver si la conseguía y cuanto costaba para comprarla, en ese preciso instante me di cuenta que era difícil de conseguirla, primero porque existen 3 tipos de bombas que aplican para ese modelo ( Nacional, Brasileño y Europeo), segundo como nunca la había reparado no sabía cuál era el modelo de mi carro, sin más remedios decidí devolverme así para mi casa y poder sacar la bomba para ver qué modelo era.
As I was already arriving at the site to do my errands, I continued without brakes and with great caution, after finishing them, I went to several sales of spare parts to see if I could get it and how much it cost to buy it, at that precise moment I realized that it was difficult to get it, first because there are 3 types of pumps that apply to that model (National, Brazilian and European), second as I had never repaired it I did not know which was the model of my car, without further remedies I decided to return home and to remove the pump to see what model it was.
Gracias a dios en el trayecto de regreso fue muy tranquilo, claro con mucha precaución, cada vez que pisaba el pedal de freno me daba miedo, debido a la costumbre de uno pisar el pedal y el carro frenaba, pero en este caso no sucedía nada, me costó repetir varias veces el proceso para acostumbrarme a no frenar con el pedal, sino con el freno de emergencia y reducir la velocidad con la caja de velocidades.
Thank God on the way back it was very quiet, of course with great caution, every time I stepped on the brake pedal I was afraid, due to the habit of stepping on the pedal and the car braked, but in this case nothing happened, it took me several times to repeat the process to get used to not brake with the pedal, but with the emergency brake and reduce speed with the gearbox.
Ya cuando llego a mi casa, le abro la capota para que se enfrié mas rápido el motor y poder sacar la bomba de freno, en eso momento es cuando mi más terrible temor se hizo realidad, el modelo de bomba que usa mi carro era el modelo más difícil de conseguir debido a que era del modelo Europeo también conocido como tipo TEVES, para verificar en la parte inferior de la bomba dice made in FRANCE.

Como era de saber en la ciudad donde vivo no la conseguí, tuve que recurrir a una app que se llama MERCADOLIBRE, es una pág. donde se compra en línea, solamente habían 5 publicadas y para completar, 4 me respondieron que no la tenían disponible, como las esperanzas son las ultimas que se pierden, tocaba esperar hasta que sí, esa estaba disponible procedí a comprarla y a realizar todo el proceso del envió porque estaba en otro estado.
As it was known in the city where I live I did not get it, I had to resort to an app called MERCADOLIBRE, is a page where you buy online, there were only 5 published and to complete, 4 answered me that they did not have it available, as hopes are the last to be lost, I had to wait until yes, that was available I proceeded to buy it and make the whole process of sending because it was in another state.
Tres días después me llego mi bomba, en ese momento al sacarla de su caja comencé a instalarla, no saben lo feliz que me sentí al poder reparar mi auto, que es una necesidad para mí y toda mi familia.
