Hello friends of Hive and Hive Motors, I have not been here for a while, but I come to share a small repair that I did to the passenger side door because for some time the door was not closing smoothly because it has a fall and you have to close it hard and over time it was getting worse and already had to lift it a little so that it could close well and not force it or had to close hitting hard so it could close and that could be damaging any of the mechanisms inside the door.

Hola amigos de Hive y Hive Motors, hace tiempo no pasaba por aqui, pero les vengo a compartir una pequeña reparación que lr hice a la puerta del lado del copiloto porque desde hace tiempo la puerta no estaba cerrando con suavidad porque tiene una caída y hay que cerrarla duro y con el tiempo se estaba poniendo peor y ya había que levantarla un poco para que pudiera cerrar bien y no forzarla o había que cerrar golpeando fuerte para que pudiera cerrar y eso podía ir dañando alguno de los mecanismos dentro de la puerta.
So I started to work with that to solve the problem, and as I told the mechanic some time ago he had told me some time ago that placing a washer on the hinge of the door with that was enough to readjust it and that it would fall well into position and close easily because it would raise it a little, so I decided to try.
So what I did was that I took a 12 wrench and set out to remove the screw from the bottom of the hinge, and with the screw in my hand I went to the tool box and started looking for a washer that would fit the screw.

Así que me puse a trabajar con eso para resolver el problema, y como ya se lo había comentado al mecánico hace un tiempo el me había dicho hace tiempo que colocándole una arandela en la bisagra de la puerta con eso era suficiente para volver a ajustarla y que cayera bien en su posición y cerrará fácilmente porque la elevaría un poco, así que decidí probar.
Entonces lo que hice fue que tomé una llave 12 y me dispuse a retirar el tornillo de la parte de abajo de la bisagra, y ya con el tornillo en la mano me fuí a la caja de herramientas y me puse a buscar una arandela que pudiera entrar en el tornillo.

Already with the washer in hand I went to place it on the hinge, I had to loosen the top screw a little to place the washers, and with the help of my son who lifted the door to present the washer and place it in the center of the hole where the screw enters, take the screw and inserted it between the washer and the hole, and began to adjust until it was tight as well as the top screw, but still had a game the door and moved a little.
So I located another washer to place it and fill the play that had the door, loosen the top screw and remove the bottom screw, place the second washer and tightened the screws until it was well adjusted. Finally I tested the door and it fit very well, it did not fall and closes very smoothly so problem solved.

Ya con la arandela en la mano fui a colocarla en la bisagra, tuve que aflojar un poco el tornillo superior para poder colocar las arandelas, y con la ayuda de mi hijo que levantó la puerta para poder presentar la arandela y la ubique en el centro del orificio donde entra el tornillo, tome el tornillo y lo introduje entre la arandela y el orificio, y empezé ajustar hasta que quedó bien apretado al igual que el tornillo de arriba, pero aún tenía un juego la puerta y se movía un poco.
Así que ubique otra arandela para colocarsela y llenar ese juego que tenía la puerta, afloje el tornillo superior y retire el de abajo coloque la segunda arandela y apreté los tornillos hasta que quedara bien ajustados. Por último probé la puerta y quedó muy bien, quedó sin caída y cierra muy suave así que problema resuelto.

Lo importante de saber resolver, lo de las puerta, algunos no le dan mucha importancia, pero realmente lo es, al igual que a un carro le suba y baje el vidrio sin problemas. Como bien dices, lo de tirar duro la puerta o forzarla podía dañar otras cosas e incluso causar que se rompa el vidrio y es más costoso, una vez me pasó eso jajaja, le rompí el vidrio al carro por cerrar la puerta que fallaba con fuerza. Que bueno que pudiste resolverlo.
