RE: Christmas greetings

They are PERFECT! As you wrote, the idea was the act of kindness, to write something, perhaps to draw something 'simple', and leave them in the wild, for others to find. That said, are you still leaving them everywhere, or have they become more like presents to people you know? I am still holding on to those you gave me, they are in front of my (work) desk at the windowsill. Yeap, concrete windowsills. Perhaps the perfect canvas for kindness 'stones'? Not moveable though.

Nice you found the Dutch: 'Vrolijk Kerstfeest', I suppose, we have multiple ways to say this. This one is used by non-religious people, quite common. 'Zalig Kerstfeest', is used by religious people, and I suppose, by elderly people since this way of saying `Merry Christmas' was quite common back in the 60s and before as far as I can tell. In English, a common one to use next to 'Merry' is 'Holy'. We dont have a direct translation to that. Well we do, 'Heilig' but this is not used in combination with Christmas as in 'Heilige Kerstmis'. Did you ever realise the word Christmas is much about religion? Next to 'Christ', the (sub)word 'mas'? Add a 's' to 'mas' and one realises this is the Christmas Mass in church. In Dutch 'mis', is the direct translation of 'mass'. Pfffff why the hell am I talking about religion, since I am not religious at all pffff hahaha

Anyways NJOY XMAS

They are perfectly imperfect 😊 or imperfectly perfect, who would know the difference hahah, thank you. I thought making it easy would inspire more people to participate but I suppose there are no pebbles around or simply not everyone shares the same love for little rocks :D
I am so glad you keep close those two rocks <3, well, I expect nothing less 😂
If the day comes that I lose inspiration, please just show me that black pebble 🙏

Dutch - I see it is complicated and now I don't have my Dutch neighbours around anymore... but I will wish you happy holidays in Hungarian, ok? 😂 Just kidding, Merry Xmas 🤗
