I specifically remember thinking that this card was so useless that @tyrnis, @palasatenea, and myself were talking about it in the EXODE Discord Server, where @elindos hopped in and decided to elaborate on the card. He said he would eventually make the Programmed Transactor upgradeable because of what we said. He then went into the utility of it which I will copy paste here:

About Syndicate Transactor:
the first use of the Transactor is as a scrappable (to gain explosives). the use of explosives can be to access some protected areas, or "to mine"
another use can happen once EVAC evolves with looters able to try to access your ship by forcing entrance (Transactor can clear a room), or clearing a cargo bay full of 6 looters because you focused on station halls first (such as, you have a Colombus, you master station halls first, and then you want to move to cargo but it's full of nasties), but it's "expensive" (1 slot)
... that's for the basic use. But considering how skills usage evolved since, it can be nice to upgrade it, however I would like a superior version of upgradable stuff which allows "to unlock traits" (such as: removing locked actions, or adding others)
I think the funniest way could be to add new stuff to Syndicate drops (as was always envisioned) such as hacker modules to install on robots and make them upgradable on a few things
that way, you could "reprogram" your transactor with this module, as an upgradable robot. I'll keep thinking about it. Adding it to suggestions channel!"

I'm most excited about leveling and XP. It's a way to specialize your cards and potentially create unique varieties!

The tech as NFTs and the way that the resources produced can be unique and uniquely limited due to the planetary uniqueness and game play choices. In combination with this I look forward to seeing how the in game market works out.
Another great idea is the passive asset upgrades so that playing longer games with your owned assets makes them inherently stronger and more valuable! I wonder how this feature will impact combining of cards. Will the base cards combine and all "buffs" be reaplied to the resulting asset, will only one cards "buffs" be maintained, or will it impeade combining in some way?
I am very interested to see how @elindos maintains the playability for someone with only a starter pack, and at the same time maintains the intrest for folks with tons of cards and all of the contracts! This must be very chalenging for the developers.

All my upvotes (+ exodegame + exoderewards) are currently manually done with human little fingers after reading with human eyes.
I guess I totally missed the train on the "auto-upvote and gain HP" usage and metrics, but at least I have a first real contact with all your suggestions, and that's another treasure in terms of feedback!

I am most interested in the research system and the progression. The output of the efforts and seeing a team work together to make the output better. The team interaction and efficiency that can come from well selected skills and personalities.
After that, I am most interested in seeing how the XP gained is applied to cards and how much better they preform after upgrades.
Lastly, I am interested in seeing how long my crew will survive. With no weapons, it will be hard to live through the exploration needed. Though I happen to have a little craft that might help avoid some ground attacks. Once the multi-game is enabled I look forward to launching a new crew or maybe a few ...
As for suggestions, deck building needs to be upgraded before multi-games are enabled.

When you use a collection NFT (one of your cards) you lock it to your game.
You will recover this card once a game ends.
I really like these 2 points. It reminds me of the "Enchantment" card played in MTG. The longer it stays ingame without being destroyed, it'll give you more XP and stuff... This fits that type of card completely.
As for suggestions, it is as before. Exode is MASSIVE in terms of information. So much so that it feels like an info overload at times. It's great for people who like immersion and lore. Not so great for a newbie. That's why I believe the entire game needs an automated advisor to recommend actions for every step. Optional of course, so any experienced players can toggle it off.

For the player market enhancement suggestion I will put forth an option to search on a seller's ID.

So, if you want to buy from a certain player, you will be able to search down what they have to offer more quickly.

I know that is kind of pushing it, but the market currently works well for what I use it for.

I wouldn't mind seeing a log of sorts. @tyrnis' bot already sort of does this. Could be cool to see an official integration.

In the player market my first thought was that I would like to see just a single image of each card and be able to click it to see all of that card that are on sale. Then I noticed the Group button. That seems to take care of the first part, all the cards are shown one time with a number of individuals on sale. However, when I click on a grouped card, I only get popup to buy one card, not a listing of all members of the group. So, I would like to be able to see all the individual cards in a group when I click on a group.

In the future, I look forward to seeing the player developed NFTs there (tech, resources, etc.) but we need to be creating them first, of course.

I would love to see some kind of very long-term transaction history, displaying the whole history of prices the article went for :)

I noticed that the player market just shows the lowest price. Which is completely fine because obviously everyone wants to buy the cheapest.

However, I think some tools can be added that'll make it better for players in general.

For example, how about a historical graph for said card that a player is interested in?
Historical price, average price, price of the card sold in the past week/month/year? Quantity of a particular card sold in a certain timeframe?

All these information would be very helpful especially to new players who aren't familiar with the value of cards. A player who got a really bad deal because of his/her "newbieness" could very well end up a player lost forever. I know I would be pretty disgusted if I were to be "tricked" in such a way. One would say it's a free market and caveat emptor, but a game trying to grow would be better served with a less predatory system.

I agree completely. Yet another @tyrnis's bot integration suggestion.

I would love to see an inexpensive conversion from Fiat that would work in many regions, either linked or directly, avaliable in game, or a simple step by step guide. I found having to find a way to buy Hive an unwanted distraction and still never really worked it out in the US. I believe it would remove a major barrier for new players wanting to enter the secondary card market. I asked a couple of times on Discord but the only replies I saw suggested apps that do not allow US accounts.

The functionality suggestions in the other comments seem like nice enhancements.

So far this game has been a lot of #FUN and I am really !gif excited to see what is in the release this week.

One day I will have more tip tokens to give but for now have a !hivebits

Perhaps someday the stats that @tyrnis' bot provides will be integrated into the market. It's difficult to say what the market could use because there is not a whole lot liquidity right now. I think innovation comes mostly from necessity, so as the player base grows more potential concerns/suggestions will arise. These are exciting times! 04 more days!
