Good Day to all Splinterlands players! (and people of HIVE! 😜) A new week always means a new entry in my "weekly diary".

This is now the 21st consecutive week writing in my Diary (of sorts) detailing my Splinterlands Journey ever since I started this game. Of course, this also marks my 21st weekly giveaway! 🎉🥳🎊 (Like WOW!!! IT'S BEEN 21 WEEKS! 🤯😱)

It was a rather "quiet" week for me last week in Splinterlands, just going about doing my usual games and daily quests everyday. This is usually the case for me when there isn't an End of Season coming up for the week.

I fully expect it to be completely different in this coming week though 🤣 seeing as the End of Season will be in another 3+ days. But that'll be another story for the next page in my diary next week! 😜

But enough about my End of Season talk 😊. No week goes by in Splinterlands without some news event happening though. And here's my pick of some of the most interesting ones in my opinion. 📰📰📰

🗺️🗺️🗺️Splinterlands Roadmap Revealed🗺️🗺️🗺️

Well, this isn't really the first time ever we've heard of a roadmap from Splinterlands, but it's the most detailed one yet (in my opinion). This lays out all the plans for Splinterlands until the first quarter of 2023. 🗓️🗓️🗓️

What do I like about this?

Firstly, the developers have said that their plan is to update this roadmap at least once a month. This will greatly help in showing us the progression of everything in the works at Splinterlands. 📊📊📊
The "Mana Cost" of each project (which is depicted as a splinterlands card if you didn't already notice the similarities) is an indicator of the scope and effort needed for each task. This is also something that is good for us players to know. As laymen and non-programmers, we are often not aware how complicated certain projects may actually be. 👷🏻👷🏻‍♀️
And mad props for it being illustrated so nicely too! 🎨🎨🎨😄😄😄

⚔️🛡️💰Modern & Wild Info⚔️🛡️💰

More information was also given about the highly anticipated Modern and Wild formats.

It seems like the coding for that is mostly done and it'll be something sooner rather than later! 😱🥳😱🥳😱🥳

I'm really hyped about this because as a new player, being able to play in a newer format without all the old cards levels the playing field somewhat. ⚖️⚖️⚖️

What's great is that the power requirements for Modern will be reduced too! Of course, this is also partially because Chaos Legion cards give less power than the older cards in the first place. But seeing as how Chaos Legion cards are really cheap right now (and you can also just buy packs at $4 of course), building a deck is extremely affordable compared to cards, like Yodin and Llama, which will set you back by hundreds for just a single card! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Once again, Not Financial Advice, but I think it is a good entry point to buy up cards now if you haven't already done so. Chaos Legion cards have just about hit nearly rock bottom prices. With more than half of the Chaos Legion packs already sold, it won't be long before prices start going up again. Besides, there're still about a hundred days of SPS airdrop points left. So buying the cards will be partially subsidized by SPS you'll receive from the collection power gained. 🤑🤑🤑

And now, for an update on the number of Chaos Legion packs sold thus far. About 47k sold since last week. Still not too bad. That is still quite an amazing sales figure! 😄

Here's the current count (as of the moment I'm writing this post) of the number of packs sold, and we're 817k away from the 9 million mark! 😄 Which also means everyone has a chance to get in now and grab more packs for the remaining airdrops! 😜

My fingers are crossed! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Hopefully I'll get some amazing luck for the next round! 🍀🍀🍀
