Some time ago I found Office Land drop on NeftyBlocks. It was advertised as new Play2Earn game with nice pixel art, so I invested $20 into one Standard Edition Pack.
I've got 15 characters with only 1 Senior so I wasn't that happy. Game was not playable back then so I just forgot about.
Recently I saw Office Land NFTs on AtomicHub again, so I decided to revisit as the game is playable now.
What is it all about?
The game is super simple: you are running a small office.
You have some workers and you assign them tasks, which take some time and may have different outcome. You are paid in OCOIN.
There are few different rarities of workers:
- Intern
- Junior
- Senior
- Leader
- Manager
- Boss
The better the worker, the more OCOINS he can earn in less time. He also has better chance to finish the task successfully, which gives you 100% revenue. If the worker fails at doing the task, you will only get 50% of the cash.
Once the task is done you can claim the money. Now there is a catch - initially the money is taxed at 50%. If you decide to wait for 5 days you can get it without any tax as tax decreases 10% by day. Your workers can do new task during that time of course.
If you are unhappy with your worker's performance, you can upgrade them. It takes 3-5 workers of same type and rarity and 400-2500 OCOIN to upgrade to higher level. You cannot upgrade to Boss, which is super rare.
Please note that right now it is cheaper to buy better workers on AtomicHub.io than to upgrade them manually.
The OCOINS that you earned are fully withdrawable and you can sell them on Alcor Echange (WAX "internal" exchange, similar to what HiveEngine is to Hive) for WAX.
Another option is to stake them in game's "bank". You can get APR of about 120-130% but there are some limits.
As I said - game is super simple but I actually really like it. Character are cute, it doesn't require much attention, but it still has potential. I am looking forward what developer will do with it.
Standard Edition packs were originally $20, now they are over $50 but you can still get the characters relatively cheap. Another thing is that OCOIN itself is very cheap right now. Will it go up in the future? Only time will tell.

the price crashed some time ago, not sure it is gonna recover but team delivered what they promised previously and is active so... hopefully they will figure out something :)
Price crashing is a red flag most times. I saw many games who could not recover after this.
I will check how cheap the 'guys' are and buy then probably.
