Greetings
We start this day to talk once again about the great battles of Splinterlands, in this new week I will bring you my weekly post and the battle related to the Weekly Challenge that brings us this wonderful game belonging to the very good community of Hive. Greetings to all the members of this platform, I hope you have a very nice rest of the week; Let's start with the epic battles that awaits us the Splinterlands universe!
Prepared for
For the battle I played there were two conditions that limited the game:
Standard: the rules will not be modified for the battle to be played.
Amount of mana: 30 points of mana available to spend on the different types of cards.
The amount of mana available for the battle is a very good amount to create a very complete strategy and buy the complete deck (6 monsters) and thus give a worthy battle with a lot of material in terms of statistics and skills, later in the text we will talk in depth about this section.
Strategy
The strategy proposed for this battle was merely based on the games that the opponent had played previously, I had noticed that during the last two battles his strategy was to take many monsters with magic damage, accompanied with one or two cards with physical attack so my strategy consisted of a combination of physical attacks (melee and ranged) and magic attack, without taking monsters with some kind of armor because it would be unnecessary, in addition to choosing monsters with skills that would allow me to counter enemy attacks.
Development of the battle
Link Battle
The battle was carried out in 4 long rounds of attacks where little by little the cards were falling with each attack received. The balance was tilting in my favor at the end of the second round, where my opponent was already at a disadvantage in terms of the number of cards standing, by that time my opponent only had 3 cards while I had 5 cards with full life. By the end of the third round of attack my enemy only had one card standing, so it was only a matter of seconds to end the battle and take the precious victory.
Card and strategy information:
Zintar Morthalis: he is our terrifying and dark summoner that comes out from the deepest passages of hell. This evil genius possesses unimaginable strength and power; his appearance is unknown, he only lets you see the gleam of his eyes through his clothing that covers most of his face. One of the qualities of this summoner is that he is able to weaken enemy attacks, especially melee attacks, he reduces 1 point of damage to all enemies on the battlefield.
Cursed Windeku is who leads the attack, this wonderful monster is one of my favorites of the Death Splinter, it is a very complete card capable of resisting the necessary for the other allied monsters to wear down the enemies in each round of attack, its statistics are as follows: 9 points of life, 2 points of melee attack and 3 points of speed. It has an ability that allows it to return the damage it has received when it is attacked with a melee attack.
Riftwing is one of the monsters I have been using lately due to its great dexterity and great skill power, besides being a very good monster in its stats it is put in the middle of the strategies, providing great support and resistance when it is due. His stats are as follows: 5 points of life and 3 points of speed. His abilities are the ones that make him shine and stand out in the battlefield, one of them allows him to dodge with a higher chance the physical attacks of the enemies that don't have this ability (Flying) and the other ability allows him to gain 1 life point every time a monster dies.
Life Sapper is in the third position and its versatility is very marked, is a monster that everyone should use at some point, like Riftwing, is a card that can be in the middle zone of the deck of cards to make the best use of his ability. His stats are as follows: 2 life points, 1 magic damage point and 2 speed points. He has an ability that allows him to gain a proportion of health points according to the damage inflicted to the enemies.
Undead Bagder is one of the monsters that I rarely use but it does not mean that it is not a good card, one of the main objectives of this monster is to wear down the enemies constantly so it can not be placed in last position. His stats are: 1 life point, 1 melee attack point and 3 speed points, his ability allows him to mark and attack the last enemy monster instead of the first one.
Dhampir Stalker is a monster that is very strong, his incredible ability characterizes him and consists in that he cannot miss his attacks, all his attacks will reach their destination regardless if the enemy possesses an ability that allows him to dodge attacks, in addition his incredible statistics transform him into an unstoppable beast: 5 health points, 3 points of ranged attack and 2 points of speed.
Silent Sha-Vi is one of those monsters that can be in any position (except being in the first position), since his ability allows him to wear down the opponents, that is, he attacks the last enemy instead of the first and also has uncommon stats for a monster with this type of ability: 5 health points, 2 melee attack points and 3 speed points, which transforms him into a kind of tank capable of resisting for many periods of attack rounds.
Synthesis
The battle was short, we talked about 4 rounds but the truth is that it seemed long to me because of the amount of attacks between rounds. I can say that I successfully neutralized the attacks and intentions of my opponent, his strategy was totally disabled by my monsters and his abilities that once again did not let me down and had an incredible performance. Without a doubt I would summon again some cards that I have not used so much, such as Dhampir Stalker and Riftwing, I find them very interesting and very complete, I will definitely use them more often.
