27 Basic Home for the popularity correction. If this drops all the way to .6, it will eat up so many cards off the market, prices are going to sky rocket.
I also bought 3 random cards ABOVE the summertooth challenge. I created a Public Restroom, Solar Plant, and Wind Turbine. Not great, certainly no Military Industrial Complex like I was hoping for!!
After getting 0 students in the airdrop I went out and bought 3 off the market. I have no idea what they are worth long term, but I got 3 at .3 HIVE each... this was of course prepump, but either way not awful. I could
try to flip them. There is a massive difference between the BID and the ASK.
Weekly Digest - The Good, Bad and Sensltess
After balancing my city for the population change and doing the summertooth challenge, I did not spend more more on upgrades. I feel like overall it was an OK week, but it was down across all my cities for discovery. Thats ok, it will come back over the next few.
I feel pretty good about my primary city and I think I will focus on senstless.rental updates before I do anything else with this account. I am worried if they make another change from .68 to .66... card prices are going up and trying to cover the citizen difference is going to get hard without a substantial investment. I guess I will keep flushing all the citizen cards here over time. That is why I am keeping 40 unemployed right now, I know the next change will make me another 2-400 short and there is no need to fix it until I can get it balanced long term.
I am really glad dCity can run on auto pilot for a few days, it makes the holidays great when I don't have to log in and I dont miss anything. A few updates from Kani bot let me know I am still in the hunt and we are moving in the right direction.
After this crazy price pump it will be hard to buy more SIM to hold, but I do love my daily divies... It just seems like HIVE is not into the valuation land like other cryptos... toss logic out the door and hold on..

Thoughts and Future Plans
I plan on taking this up to 30% for new citizens. Might as well max it out and let it ride. Finding 4 cards in a week is great, Might have to start to sell some extra TECH not sure what I will do long term, either that or give them away, not sure what is best. Most of these cheap ones are not worth very much right now. Unless Gerber decides to shut them down and make new ones, they will have an infinite supply.

Very Quite
Only 1 citizen for the past week with a 30% chance. Not great for a few weeks, but that's ok. Overtime I should even out. I still have a 30% chance even though I have some inactive cards. Given the current tax lookout, I don't see any way to make money by earning SIM. I think the only way to earn in this game will be War Shares, or selling cards created. The recent HIVE pump will crush the SIM ratio.
New City - Senstlessmonster - ROI City Experiment
After hearing so many complain about the taxes for the past month of two in discord, I wanted to look at other ways to earn in this game. For my experiment, the city was built as follows. All citizens will be sold at "market rate" ( no dumping for bids if too low) but trying to list them where the cards are likely to sell.
City Investment 87 Cards 15,174 SIM
I went to get max 30% New Citizen discover, while having a 1% chance for Technology discovery.

Thoughts
This city is still popping. If you look at it, it is doing really well. Little known fact, the card you own does not need to be active to get the popularity, or education points, it is only required to count towards the income. The changes from .70 to .68 too a couple of art galleries' offline and impacted my potential earnings, but given the current taxes it had little impact. Given the prices for citizens is increasing and now I get a small chance to get a student - I think this city could really beat expectations. It will be fun to keep watching. Its a great starter city either way.
I haven't played since the update. I'm probably losing 📉 tons everyday
Don't worry too much @summertooth turned on all the taxes so I am at -234 income. Guess he decided to go out with a bang!!

I like the way you prep this information my friend. Breaking down the reason for purchases is a great way to help new players learn the game :)
Thanks - I try show how I focus on growing my cities outside of the traditional income. That is what I tried at first but quickly realized the payoff would never get there. !LUV !PIZZA
