What is your biggest fear? I've never been so afraid until recently. I've always had my whole problems solved for me by my parents until recently.....I am Nigerian and the economy hasn't been friendly since 2021. It has been quite fair till last year, when tragedy struck in our family.
My maternal grandmother died on July last year and the weight of the burial fell on my parents. She was buried a month later. Then came the traveling to and from the village for different burials. My paternal grandmother came to stay with us too because she was unwell.
Then came November 2022 with the death of my paternal uncle. It was devastating because once again, all arrangements were to be made by my dad. He was the only one capable of funding the burial even with the fact that on one of his business trips, the driver eloped with his money.
This year has been tough, with me not being able to pay my fees, get my results from school. And the fear I've dreaded is not being able to provide for myself. I have needs I need to provide but it seems impossible. I have that gripping fear that I may not survive this phase of my life.
What is your greatest fear?? We can share it and find a solution to them.
