Reaching Inner Peace

They say "peace is the new rich." I find it quite true to a large extent. Considering we live in a rowdy and lousy world, one that some real peace—or moments even of peace—could mean a lot. Our efforts and struggles should feature peace as the grand concern, because one way or the other, it's something we will all long for. So yes, peace is paramount and necessary, most especially, some inner peace.

The subject of inner peace could be a simple matter, yet weighty in implications; and that's indicative of how much each one of us needs it. Many are still to find a way to reach within and tap into or activate that inner peace. We can only be at peace with our environment, work, others as much as we're with ourselves. And it starts from within; erupting like a volcano and pouring out into every facet of one's life.

Peace within has been an important concern for me. I consider it an utmost priority, for its contribution to my well being—mentally, socially, emotionally—and productivity as well. With that all being understood and affirmed, some of the steps and efforts I'll say, I make towards reaching inner peace are highlighted thus.

One way is to ultimately be at peace with myself. I understand this as very important for my personal cause at least. When I find my peace with myself, I can find it with whatever within, and then let it erupt to the world around me. I try to be at peace with myself as a necessary measure to reach the inner peace that I know I need. It's only then that I can find that peace and rest even in troubled situations, within or without. It's a matter of self reflection.

Some good meditations can be useful to reach there. This involves setting aside from people and activities, and engaging in some deep minded mediations to reach within and find some ease, relief and ultimately peace. It's unfortunate that today we're so busy we can't find some good meditation time. But this I find as a way to reaching inner peace. It helps to create some connection with within and align myself, drawing some form of energy and channeling it around me. I guess the monks know this better—of course.

Speaking only positive and reassuring words are essential in getting me there. No matter the efforts I could make to reach inner peace, it will seem momentary only if the words of others will get through me. The whispers could come, clouding my mind and filling my head with only as much those negativities as possible. The energy will not be harnessed again, and channeled around me. It will rather be a constant weakening power, tampering with my peace within. So, it's much of a mindful effort to reach that peace.

We all need that inner peace. Only when we take measures and make some efforts towards that can we reach there. And such as these are some measures I find useful in the journey towards inner peace.

Finding inner peace might not be easy but when you get to attain and grasp it then you will see just how wonderful it is

For me, inner peace can only be attained if you're not carrying a lot of problems, stress, or even insecurities... And that can be achieved if you pass it into a stronger one, that can carry all the loads. I'm referring to God. ☝️
