Before I start this short story, all I request is to know everyone's take on it after reading😉

Kayla, a beautiful and well behaved girl, got married to Kelvin on her 19th birthday.
This couple lived for four years without any child, in the fifth year, Kayla took in; but something tragic happened....Kelvin lost his life to a fatal car accident on his way from work on that day the news of her concerning came.
Life was unbearable for Kayla, buh she did everything humanly possible just to make sure she provided for her son.

Some months later, Kayla had to leave her son at home alone, since the cost of hiring nannies were on the high side, and she couldn't take him with her to work. Whilst at work, news got to her that her house was on fire, so she left everything behind and rushed back home. On getting there, a lot of people were already trying to put out the fire, realizing that her son was in there; she tried rushing in and some people stopped her, she persisted and went into the house, wrapped her son in her arms, then struggled out the the burning house. Her son was safe but she had so many burns which later resulted to multiple scars.
Despite that fact, she kept on providing for him and made sure he underwent sound education.

Years later, her some became one of the prominent people in the society and was well known by a good number of people.
One day, he decided to throw a party....he invited so many dignitaries, and yes his friends weren't left out. Sadly, he didn't invite his mom, but nevertheless she came on her own, with the mindset that her son must have expected her to show up even without invitation.

Things turned out differently when she got there, the bouncers told her strict orders were given not to allow anyone whose name wasn't on the invitation list into the party. Whilst the fuss was going on, her son came out and she attempted running to him. He bluntly told her that she shouldn't get any closer to him, lest his guests felt he has any connections with her......He further said that the scars on her body made her look unkempt and he can't present someone in that state as his mom. Kayla cried her hearts out, left the party and went back home to her cubicle.

Please guys, let's learn to appreciate our mothers' in every little way we can, those creatures go through a lot for our sake🥺🥺

This story deeply touched me. Kayla's sacrifices are beyond words. It's a powerful reminder to honor and appreciate mothers for their unconditional love and resilience. Let's cherish and acknowledge the incredible sacrifices they make.

Yeah, we really need to appreciate their sacrifices no matter how small, I'm happy you found you understood the point
