I have certain mixed feelings with this very fashionable perspective on friendship, because I feel that people go too far to extremes and pretend to forget about you but remind themselves of your existence at times of convenience. Nor should we forget that friendships like any interpersonal relationship need to be cultivated, you have to contribute, give support... I don't know.
