Understanding the true definition of love will make one go an extra mile for the one he/she loves, the weight of love is more than a mere a word, love is embedded in sacrifice, this is at this point that can be said that he or she really loves whosoever they claimed to be in love with. Have you been in love before? or Are you in love? Then what have you done for the sake of love before? Have you gone extra mile to prove that you love someone?.
This is the only way to prove my love
Mike and Gloria met in the university in their final year during Inaugural lecture of the Dean, Mike would steered at Gloria for quite a long time, Gloria been a girl noticed that a beautiful and handsome guy was steering at her, maybe he is shy she talked to herself, but before the speaker finishes her lectures, Mike was able to approach her and they exchanged their contacts. Unfortunately, Gloria had a long standing ailment which makes her afraid that no man would like to love her as she is, Gloria has a serious kidney disease that needs to be replaced, this instilled so much fear and posed so much threat that she might died any day, anytime so to her, no point of being deceived in the name of love.
Meanwhile, Mike wasn't aware of Gloria predicament but irrespective of how Mike tried to express his love towards her, it was all to no avail, What's my wrong? What should I do? This is my soulmate but how would I make her to see that I really love her and I'm ready to do anything for her? I don't think Mike really understood himself by saying he can do anything for Gloria, does he knows that Gloria needs kidney transplant? would he be able to sacrifice one of his own kidney for the sake of love?
Indeed Gloria is also in love with Mike but it was so difficult to give him a positive response until that faithful day when Mike invited her for a date at Campus cafeteria after so much pressure from Mike to really know what could obstruct a beautiful damsel like her from giving love a chance, Gloria finally opened up to Mike of her predicament which made him sat for a longer time without altering a word, this kept Mike in constant thinking, he really loves Gloria but can he donate his kidney to save her life? ***What after that Gloria doesn't end up with him? *** These are many questions that kept ringing his mind.
If this is the only way to show her that I truly loved her, I'll do it no matter the cost! Mike made up his mind to donate one of his kidneys to save Gloria because he loves her so much. He went extra mile to support her bills with his school fees as he suspended his final year and used the money for get the kidney transplanting process.
