The fact that you acknowledge your feelings and are working to accomplish this for yourself and your descendants tells the type person you are. One who strives for what they want.
You could attempt to gain wealth by unlawful means or taking what others have. But you choose to operate within the framework of a lawful society. It is not easy. Many people have generational wealth that is passed down from their ancestors.
This type of wealth gives children a head start over others. But it doesn't make them wise or intelligent enough to handle it.
Giving your children wealth and then teaching them how to handle it is the best route. Also, if you don't have wealth, teaching them how to obtain it is even better.

With that, I obtained an excellent job that at the time I didn't realize how it would benefit me in the long run.
