Un saludo amigos de #hive comunidad #emotionsfeelings, hoy dedico mi participación a un tema que muchos ignoran pero causa daños emocionales terribles; dicho tema es el bullying.
Greetings friends of #hive community #emotionsfeelings, today I dedicate my participation to a topic that many ignore but causes terrible emotional damage; that topic is bullying.
Para lo que no saben el bullying existe y se conoce como el acoso bien sea físico y psicológico que puede desencadenar desde fuerte crisis de depresión que muchas veces llevan a que los jóvenes tomen la via del suicidio como el escape ante esta situación.
For those who do not know bullying exists and is known as physical and psychological harassment that can trigger strong depressive crises that often lead young people to take the path of suicide as an escape from this situation.
Como profesora coordinadora de alumnos de 1er año en edades de 11 a 14 años, procuro siempre estar pendientes de ellos, como se sienten dentro de la institución; genero confianza en ellos para que en el momento que estén en una situación difícil no duden en contármelo.
As a teacher who coordinates 1st year students from 11 to 14 years old, I always try to be aware of them, how they feel within the institution; I generate confidence in them so that when they are in a difficult situation, they do not hesitate to tell me about it.
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la historia de Valeria esta hermosa niña que les presento, sufrio de bulling en su anterior escuela, y lamentablemente repitió esta conducta al llegar a la institución donde trabajo; ya que el joven que en algún momento es victima de acoso se convierte en victimario de dicha conducta.
Today I want to share with you the story of Valeria, this beautiful girl that I present to you, suffered from bullying in her previous school, and unfortunately she repeated this behavior when she arrived at the institution where I work; since the young person who at some point is a victim of bullying becomes the victimizer of such behavior.
Cuando conoci a Valeria en el mes de octubre de 2021 inicio del año escolar en Venezuela, era callada, muy seria, no mirada a los ojos., molestaba a sus compañeros, golpeándolos, colocándoles apodos. Desde el primer momento que supe de esto me dedique a trabajar su personalidad, sentimientos, emociones y encontré lo que tanto me temia, fue victima de acoso y ningún adulto de su entorno le presto la debida atención.
When I met Valeria in October 2021 at the beginning of the school year in Venezuela, she was quiet, very serious, did not look her in the eyes, bothered her classmates, hitting them, calling them names. From the first moment I knew about this I dedicated myself to work on her personality, feelings, emotions and I found what I was so afraid of, she was a victim of bullying and no adult in her environment paid her due attention.
Al saber esto me comunique con su familia para contarle lo sucedido, los cuales se mostraron sorprendidos de los efectos que puede causar la desatención en un adolescente en plena formación, ya que la niña confeso que intento quitarse la vida pero en el momento que lo haría se arrepintió. Ante tal confesión les dije:
No es tiempo de llorar es tiempo de trabajar en equipo, ustedes en casa y yo aquí en el liceo.
When I learned of this, I contacted her family to tell them what had happened. They were surprised at the effects that neglect can have on an adolescent in the middle of his development, since the girl confessed that she had tried to take her own life but at the moment she was about to do so, she regretted it. Faced with such a confession I told them:
It is not time to cry, it is time to work as a team, you at home and me here at school.
El pasado 27 de mayo Valeria acepto posar para una foto conmigo, y que creen mostró su primera intención de sonrisa en mucho tiempo, me sentí muy bien les confieso que llore que pura felicidad, y a la vez me encuentro motivada a continuarla ayudando a ser feliz con el apoyo de sus padres en casa.
Last May 27th Valeria agreed to pose for a picture with me, and I believe she showed her first smile in a long time, I felt very good, I confess that I cried with pure happiness, and at the same time I am motivated to continue helping her to be happy with the support of her parents at home.
Mi mensaje es el siguiente cuando un niño o adolescente se acerca a contarnos un problema para el nunca debemos desestimarlo, al contrario prestarle la máxima atención y darle el apoyo debido para que vea luz al final del túnel donde se encuentra. Por cada momento de atención en nuestros chicos tengan la plena seguridad que estamos colocando nuestro granito de arena para evitar que el acoso escolar gane terreno.
My message is as follows: when a child or adolescent approaches us to tell us about a problem, we should never dismiss it, on the contrary, we should give them the utmost attention and support so that they can see the light at the end of the tunnel where they are. For every moment of attention to our children, be assured that we are doing our bit to prevent bullying from gaining ground.
