Before you choose who to spend the rest of your life with, make sure the person is worth it and check if he or she is compatible with you because I know some people just want to tie the knot because all of their friends have done it meanwhile marriage is not all about what people are doing because it's a lifetime contract.
Just like a young lady that I used to know that shared her story with me, she has been looking for a husband for a very long time but she couldn't find herself one. She has tried keeping a relationship at all costs but it doesn't work out and then she decided to take any available flight since she was 35 years already.
She was invited to a church night vigil by her neighbor and she went because she believes that there are always good men in the church her prediction was right to some extent because she was asked out by a guy in the church.
After two weeks of knowing each other.
"Won't you come and meet my friends?" Beatrice said to the king.
King replied, "I will but not now ok".
Beatrice wasn't taking note of how king is behaving toward her because she was blinded by her marriage ambitions.
Another week passed and Beatrice started telling her friends that she was going to get married that year.
One of her friends replied, "but you don't have a boyfriend so how did you want to go about it?"
Beatrice replied, "Don't worry, am cooking something and when that thing is ready I will let you guys know"
Two months after
Beatrice said to king, "Babe you need to see my parents because I can not be dating someone people don't know".
King didn't want to hurt her feelings but he was not in love with her so he followed her to see her parents when she didn't give him rest of mind. At least that will make her give rest of mind a little and it will make her think he loves her.
When they got to Beatrice's mother's house they both went in.
"Hello, my son" Beatrice's mother greeted.
King replied, "good afternoon ma" Beatrice's mother replied, "I have heard a lot about you".
King replied to her with a smile on his face, "I hope it's a good thing you heard me?" "Yes of course said" Beatrice's mother as she welcome them.
After all the greetings Beatrice said, "babe I have a surprise for you".
At first, king thought she wanted to give him something like a wristwatch or something else then Beatrice said, " babe, I am pregnant".

King was shocked because he wasn't expecting that but he didn't say a word to her and when they got back home to Beatrice's apartment he asked, "why did you get pregnant because the relationship is just two months".
Beatrice replied, I like you and I know that you like me too so why waste time?".
King was angry because he wasn't ready for it but he didn't have a choice but to marry her for the pregnancy's sake.
While Beatrice's mother wouldn't let them be, she keeps making the decision for the two of them which wasn't ok for king but he let them do whatever they want for the pregnancy's sake.
After 1 year the baby they both had started having issues, there is no week they don't take him to the hospital without knowing the nature of his sickness but the doctor later did a test for both the mother and the father.
"Why did you both get married?", the doctor asked after running a series of tests on Beatrice and her husband.
Beatrice replied, "doctor what's the meaning of all this question, I love my husband and that is why I married him".
Doctor replied, "am so sorry madam but love is not the only thing to consider when getting married to avoid putting your children in great danger like this"
King replied to the doctor, "what's going on? What danger are you talking about?".
Then the doctor told them, "you are both AS which means you are not supposed to get married because your children will have health issues. Am sorry to say this but I am your family doctor so I should be frank with you both".
If this lady has checked if they are compatible medically for the future, she wouldn't end up being a single mother meanwhile, this boy in question doesn't enjoy coming to life because he has so many health issues because of the blood group of his mother and his father.
King stood up and left in anger and when Beatrice ran after him to beg king then king said, "I was never in love with you but you won't let me breathe and that was why I married you now you have brought nothing but sorrows to me for giving birth to a such child".
Hmmmm a powerful lesson to learn and that's why love is not enough
