In December 8, 2024, I had a great time in Oceanica Beach Resort, Bohol. The white sand surprised me, thinking of Boracay's special facade. The group of towering coconuts and unknown trees on the other side of the resort even influenced me to plan more adventures in the future. The view is just incredibly wonderful in the real scene. Just bear with my camera. It is not that picturesque—not HD—for you to fully appreciate.
Upon alighting from the vehicle we were in, we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist of the resort. As our generous financier approached the front desk officer, we were signaled directly to go through the entrance hall in order to enjoy the beach and the swimming pool. After 2 minutes of walking, what lay in my eyes were the spotless swimming pool with children having fun and tourists busy taking pictures.
Stepping into the place was like heaven. The air was so refreshing, all my problems were swept away. The color of the sand enlightens my dark soul. The soothing kiss of the wind wiped away the tears from my heart. The dancing leaves of the towering coconut and robust mangroves filled my heart with grace and gratitude. This is what great nature can offer.
With various tent and beach benches, resort chairs in style, and good furniture, it amazed me how a person can do more with his creativity and hard work. Here, we printed our body prints under a showering field, though the luxurious chairs were wet, undoubtedly posed just to savor each blessed art and creativity of the resort.
Everyone's heart and mind are happy at this time. The tourists are all coming to dip at the beach, create vlogs, get-together with family and friends, do picnics, and usually capture the wonderful angle of the place.
Every creation that I had seen, I captured. Every new face I wanted to picture, I will take a selfie with them. One of whom was Vandolf, son of the late famous comedian, King Dolphy. He visited the resort that time along with another artist whom we failed to capture because she was surrounded by her staff. Aside from artists seeking peace in the place, there were also lots of foreigners strolling around, happily sharing vibes with their companion.
After strolling around the area, we went to the beach. This was the time I first saw a beach cleaning machine. I was surprisingly educated at this time. I was able to recognize the equipment by the time I wrote this because I forgot to google it the moment I saw it.
Respective families of each worker were totally having fun taking pictures and swimming in the sea. Their manager was also very amiable, offering to capture every moment of us.
For instance, this picture was captured by the manager. And I could not thank her enough, as seen in my face here.
Plus, this picture from the other perspective was also taken by her. Such a wonderful take, right? I only pulled up my jeans because I felt cold that time and the three-hour visit was too tight for me to dip. So, I just made use of the time by taking lots of pictures.
I wanted a more decent post in the area; however, my photographer did not go well. This is how my niece took a picture after I asked her a little time in-between her playing time.
While everyone was busy dipping, I did sand markings as a proof of visiting the place. And my niece and nephew were also engaged to take pictures there without any question. HAHA.
Lastly, I wanted to give special credits to my sister's family, who undoubtedly included me in their budget as their taken-for-granted nanny. HAHA. Just kidding. Anyways, I was the one who assisted them when I was vacant during this time, even though sometimes I forgot my role because of the new place I experienced.
Moreover, all of these things won't happen without the generosity of Mam Monica, my brother-in-law's company manager. I had the chance to take a picture of her at this time because she first volunteered to take a picture of us, as I have aforementioned. Taking the chance to finally get a beautiful picture of her was such an honor, as she deserves to be recognized as one of the most generous managers I have ever known.
All in all, the place is such a spirit-rekindling way to escape all the headaches from where you have been. It is a great escape wherever our heart feels heavy and when our mind gets weary.
Now, you should definitely add Oceanica to your bucketlists if you plan to visit Panglao, Bohol.
