RE: MY MOUNTAIN ft. The Highlands of Dalaguete and Badian, Cebu

But just as what Neil Gaiman said, "Most of us only find our own voices after we've sounded like a lot of other people," it is not wrong to imitate what others are doing as long as you have that substance that makes you YOU.

I love the message of the quote from Neil Gaiman here.

Finding one's unique voice usually includes attempting numerous tactics, like mimicking others, and learning from those before us. And even if it's ideal to avoid it, it's okay to start impersonating others. Because artistic growth comes from accepting your uniqueness and constantly pushing the boundaries of what you have learned, so, as you continue to originate new creations, you will discover your unique voice, which will eventually grow and develop over time.

Nice post, by the way. Love the message. 😊💖

Thank you @sherline. 😊 Love your words too. As Mark Twain said, "There is no such thing as a new idea. It is impossible. We simply take a lot of old ideas and put them into a sort of kaleidoscope. We give them a turn and they make new and curious combinations."

Artists or writers copy. But they always put a touch of themselves on their works of art and that's what makes it unique.
