Festive Baking Fun✨ 🎄🍪🧁

I know it’s been almost three months since Christmas, but it’s one of my absolute favorite times of the year – filled with joy, love, laughter, and of course, gifts! My love language is gift-giving, so having a whole day dedicated to giving fun gifts to the people I love? That’s my kind of day! 🎁

Another thing I adore about Christmas? The baking! There’s something about the festive spirit that makes it extra special. So today, I’m reminiscing about all the fun and delicious treats I baked back in December. Armed with my "Queen of the Kitchen" apron, my favourite recipe book and all the fun sprinkles, I had a grand baking day!

I kicked things off with condensed milk cookies, soft and buttery, perfect for cozying up with a cup of tea. Next came the gingerbread cupcakes, topped with swirls of blue and white icing and the cutest candy cane and gingerbread men sprinkles. They were almost too pretty to eat.

And because I can’t survive on sugar alone (though I’ve tried), I balanced it out with some savory spinach and cheese scones. I have never felt more like an adult than when I actively and consciously decided, with my own free will, to add spinach to my cheese scones. I think this was the moment I realized I was a grown-up… 😄 But hey, they were the perfect addition to my festive baking spread, and let’s be honest, I could eat them any time of year!

How darn cute are these sprinkles?! I fell in love and I don't even like sprinkles but just had to buy these for all of my festive bakes!

Christmas may be behind us, but the memories (and the photos) keep the holiday spirit alive.
