"It is one of the most peculiar birds of the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. They form groups of up to twelve individuals, led by a female. They bustle through the branches with an impressive repertoire of songs. Their calls can serve as a warning to other animals in the presence of predators. In fact, they are usually very territorial, they have been observed attacking hawks, monkeys and even people."
They attack people?? With a description like that, one may be put off from going near one of these birds - which can be a good thing... - but look at that beauty!

"Today, I will share with you a recipe that I love. I love preparing recipes with chicken. It is an excellent choice at mealtime and I find that it goes with everything, in any way: stewed, breaded, baked, with vegetables, etc. I want to share with you my recipe for Chicken Cordon Bleu, which is nothing more than a breaded and stuffed chicken breast milanesa."
Ohhhhh.... yummiliousss! I like chicken too! Eating it, I mean... and these do look like tasty morsels I could really dig into.... yummmm...

"She dives into the sea of warm colors, gathering the strength to get out of the forgottenness kept. I see her without being able to scream or catch her, my caramelized body only dissolves, melting together with the sun's rays, waiting for the fervent freedom of those words I decided to keep. However, they are so deep and loaded with unforgettable experiences, that they become hammers, ready to attack that place, which I gave them as home.
A self-portrait by @constgaladriel; click on to read a mesmerising piece of writing too!

"Painting something meaningful with some kind of mood is not an easy thing for me. Maybe because I don't really draw stuff that tells a story and also understand the important of proper lighting. Which will help to convey the mood of the drawing. I'm not a good story teller, so I start to train myself by learning how to paint a simple scene, which is this hamster holding a leaf after rain. Hahaha."
From what I've seen of work from @yunayuna, I think she's doing pretty well so far... Keep an eye out for more posts from her! :)
by @merthin
"In March 2019 I had a opportunity to work in Wellington, New Zealand. Having one afternoon off, I decided to visit the Te Papa Tongarewa museum. I have already written an article on the museum (available in Spanish and Polish). This one is devoted to the Terracotta Army exhibition which was temporarily on display during my visit."
Take a walk through time with @merthin as he gives us a good look at the terracotta soldiers displayed as well as the story behind them.
