Our direct competitors are other blockchains which are suitable for building. Like Solana which I mentioned with due respect, because it's a serious competitor. Another one could be something like Near for instance. There are a lot of parallels which are mostly related to development, scaling and resilience, although the blockchains themselves are not similar protocol-wise. Other DPoS chains are not competitors because DPoS in itself is flexible enough to be scaled down for something like Blurt which is used to host one site. These other chains typically have a specific purpose and goal or are highly centralized and aren't a fit for outside development. Development on them would be a huge financial gamble and frankly either impossible or not worth it. So we don't need to pretend to even compete with them. We are competing in a friendly manner (since the cryptosphere is large enough for everyone) with actual chains of various protocol types designed for scalability and adoption.
