Just a note for building for mac: You need to do it on a mac, or at least figure out a way to sign it on linux(I saw a blog post about it, but its not an easy process). Also seems like you might need the paid apple developer account or else gatekeeper seems to complain and refuse to open it.
My experience has been that
release/mac/Vesselworks well without signing. OnlyVessel-1.0.1.dmgneeds signing.Even when built on Linux? The first time I built everything I did it on Linux and my mac refused to open it. Wonder if I tried the dmg then. Would be awesome if everything could be built on one machine.
