PEPT is looking for your feedback in support of our process improvement initiative.

Project ePayTraffic has not been on Hive blockchain very long. Not even 5 months yet. A lot of effort has been made with our Project ePayTraffic as part of integrating our web2 membership site with Hive - The Blockchain & Cryptocurrency for Web3

Currently, we have 27 Hive subscribers and work is in progress to onboard members from our flagship traffic exchange project site. Work is in progress for many improvements, including implementation of #ePayer that will help with our payment processing for Paypal, Wise, BitBuy and Hive token transfers.

If you could make some time to review the published blogs in our PEPT community and provide your feedback, it will be greatly appreciated.

In return for posting your feedback, our PEPT banker account will send you 1,000 ePay tokens. Feedback is expected to be sufficient in quality so do not expect to be rewarded for just a few words.

Again, a lot of process improvement effort is already in progress so some feedback may already be addressed. Now is a great time to capture some valuable feedback from our Hive community.

Tell us some pros, cons of what has been shared so far and do provide suggestions and ideas that would help grow our traffic exchange community on Hive.

1 Quality Post = 1,000 ePay Tokens

Let's us work together in creating some community synergy.

Looking forward to gain a better understanding of the process to provide a more quality feedback. Although, #PEPT only been on the Hive blockchain for about four months or so you are making progress integrating the web2 membership site with Hive.
And the implementation of #ePayer to improve the payment process will also bring other Hive subscribers onboard.
Jack, I am glad to be associated with you and to be a witness/participant of this vision becoming a reality. It takes a mind like yours to introduce a different vision and to inspire others to change their thinking process. Hope to provide more quality feedback in the days to come with positive engery and #luv.

Thank you very much for the feedback and support Terrence @globalcontac

It is a challenge to balance the need to improve on an existing script and introducing a new way of doing things while trying to keep up with technology changes and user expectations. All in good !fun !lol !luv !ctp

Hello Jack,
To be honest, I still have a difficult time finding my way around the Epay Traffic website.
When I surf, for instance, and I come to a page that tells me to click for performance points it doesn't go anywhere when I click. Or it keeps forcing me to log in.
I'm sorry. It's a good project and I know you're working on it. I just feel like it should be easier to get around.

I am sorry for the difficulty you experienced. The creation of the trading system component of Project ePayTraffic was to get away from the vanilla script of the lfmte manual traffic exchange implementation. Every time lfmte updates their script it becomes a risk to implement the changes because it can negatively impact the existing customized code. I have been tempted to create my own script and not use the lfmte code. Then I realized that I am not the only owner that could use improved functionality from the existing version of lfmte and thus decided to look at how I may be able to tap into additional revenue streams.

The issue with the logins is related to setting up session cookies for security and for added functionality. Also, I have implemented surfing time restriction to make surfers more aware of any negative impact to one's well being associated with extended online time. By limiting the surfing time or creating extra steps to surf for an extended period, it does help in a more equitable distribution of rewards.

I am still learning and practicing on session cookie usage. I did make a change yesterday to extend the active session time but I still need to play with it some more.

The Performance Points is a way to reward members who want to go beyond clicking for ad credits to show their ad campaign to other members. It is a Paid-For-Performance, or Paid-For-Effort reward system that includes an ability to earn Member Quality Scorecard (MQS) points. You can think of MQS as a Resources Credit allowance similar to HIVE. I created the model long before I learned anything about Hive. I have gotten to know many people in the traffic exchange community, well, affiliated marketing, that have not done well in generating a revenue stream from the effort of others. I prefer a compensation system that rewards members for their effort first. So the extra steps are there for those who want more from their own effort, plus it provides a path to future growth for Project ePayTraffic.

Clicking for Performance Points is optional. I like to aim for 250 page views and I can do it as part of a multi-tasking exercise. For example, while Xploring on CTPX, reading Hive postings, listening and watching podcast and video streams, etc. I can complete my target page views without having to re-login several times. Less than 30 minutes per day. Having to login often is related to being away from the current surfing session. When I start my surfing session, the first thing I do is click the surf page footer link named Dashboard. That will prompt me to login the trading part of our program. Once that is done, and it is done within the surfing page, I have access to additional functionality and I am set to surf, earn performance points, earn performance ad impressions and MQS points. Plus claim 8 second surf time credits.

Once I get more familiar with coding session cookies I will see about making it easier or more accommodating for different member needs. No promise cause at this stage it is about introducing a different way of using a manual traffic exchange site. Also, I don't like to share new ideas too much too quickly cause you never know who may be looking to clone the next big money maker. !lol

Thank you for that explanation, Jack @fjworld
I appreciate the time you took to lay that out.
I took a screenshot of it so I can come back to it and read it again later on.
Have a great day today😆

Good Afternoon and Thank you, @youarealive! Enjoy your day.😀

Well, @pept-admin, I joined the traffic exchange, and here are some points, that I, as an SEO expert and as a user can tell You.

  1. When I tried to register I was stopped many times before I managed to complete the Sign-Up process. First, I could not enter my real name, that is Jüri—had to add Juri, because it is not allowed to use letters that are not present in the English language. Not suitable for international users.
  2. The reCaptcha stopped me 3 times until I find out, that I have to use only the black letters. The note about that is not visible, because too much text all around. It should be in Bold and maybe in red color, so nobody misses it.
  3. Your site is available in HTTP and HTTPS versions. The link to the traffic exchange, that I found in Google was the insecure HTTP version. I signed up using the HTTP version and by doing this I used the password, that was suggested by my browser. I did not write it down. The traffic exchange sent me an email with a confirmation link, which was the secure HTTPS URL. Because I registered using HTTP URL and now was sent to HTTPS URL the browser did not recognize the site and did not autofill my login details. I had to use the "Forgot password?" function to get my password. Too much struggle with fist steps. You are losing many users because of that.
  4. Now the surfing is ok, but I did not understand the member's area. There is much text there in the dashboard that I personally will never read. I would like to have a short video that explains essential stuff and how to use it.
  5. About the campaign: what I miss there is the Geo-targeting option AND an option to show my sites to users only once in 24 hours. I would add also an option to select, how many times to show my ads to the same user. Right now I have the feeling, that there are not many active online users there and my ad will be shown to the same few people tens of times. By the way, this is the main problem for #CTPX too. I see the same ads every 3-5 minutes.

Hope my review will help You in Your success.

@pept-admin, I will add today, that I tried to log in today and was not able because I was redirected back to the login page. No error messages. Is something wrong with cookies?

Excellent feedback @bizmanest

Yesterday, I did make a change relating to session cookies. I also noticed that I am getting logged out on a few lfmte sites when I start to surf.

Are you able to surf at all at this time?

I need to go for a walk and visit my sister so I will come back later to address the very valuable feedback you shared.

@fjworld No, still can't log in.

@bizmanest I put the code back to what it was but I am not sure that is the issue.

@fjworld With HTTPS URL did not work, but I tested with HTTP URL, and it worked. It has to do something with this, maybe Your cookies are using HTTP URLs in scripts or something - I don't know if they work so that's just a suggestion.

@bizmanest
Juri are you still prevented from surfing?

I will be doing some more testing today as part of addressing the issues you have raised.
