Hivesea Photography : The Shield Beetle

in Hive Sea3 years ago

Today I will make my regular post about Photography. But before that, I want to thank the admins and curators who have supported me and will try to make better posts as much as I can.
I will do the best I can, and God will take care of the rest.

Shield Bug Macrophotography

Today I want to make a post about the Shield Bug. The name penetrated because of the shape of the shield and curves of his body. I found him around the forest, and he lived among the bushes, weeds, and also where he could hide. This was destined so that he could take refuge from the beasts that would devour him. These insects do not live in groups, they are alone in one place. So if he escapes, we won't find the others in the same place.

Characteristics and Outlook Bug Shield

The color, shape, and appearance really fascinate insects. It has a brilliant green color similar to its surroundings, and it is also camouflaged in the wild for the lack of predators who cannot distinguish from its surroundings.
Looking closely, this insect has tiny spots or pores all over its body and I don't know what it's for. On the back of the head there is a long white line as if to indicate the difference between the head and the body.

They also have two antennae in front of their heads, I don't know what they do, but it's possible to detect movement around them, as they are also very sensitive to their surroundings. It also made it very difficult for me to photograph it. They also have thin wings on their backs and can fly to other places with them, but they can't fly for long. I think the overall appearance of this insect is amazing.

Hard to catch

Honestly, photographing these insects is one thing. These insects are very difficult to approach, and they are also very sensitive. I have to be careful when I approach him and make as much noise as possible. Taking pictures is a waste of time.

But the hard work paid off when you saw the beauty of this insect. If you want to see it too, check it out below.
