I guess I (or humans in general) have a lot of time-based anxieties because once I remove time as a factor, I feel a hell of a lot better.
I wonder how many times a day our brains so those sub conscious temporal checks.
"What time is it now? When did I last do this sub routine? How long until that event happens? Where am I/We at for the week?, and Where the hell is my Amazon delivery"
Our brains seem to be synced with time, like a quartz watch. I wonder if quartz knows it's vibrating along in sync with our global rotations or wether or not it's the earth itself that makes it pulse.
Sounds like a metaphysical chicken and egg that I shouldn't go that much further into because for me it's mentally late in the day, and for you it's early.
All I know for sure is that in a lot of ways, time stopped when I met you. And in others, it feels like that's when the clock only just began to tick.
Interesting that in an age where time has never meant less, most of the earth's eyeballs are on an app called tik tok.
I mean good lord, we're doomed aren't we really.. lol.
Maybe we're all just trying to get back in sync. A bunch of humans dealing with existential jet lag, wondering what the meaning of life is without weekend soccer games, and after work happy hour drinks with the co workers.
I'm glad we hit the opt-out, of that subscription. I guess the nice part about the world being upside down, is that the already-upside-down folks end up right side up for a change.
Thank you for indulging my rablings. I am, as you can clearly see, out of practice here. But if you cracked a smile even just once during this bock-based transmission, it has served its purpose, and can fade into the past, so that you can move on to your future, which I'm hoping involves eggs and a nice hot coffee.
