Good evening everyone.
This makeup came out in my Tik Tok feed a few weeks ago and I was thinking about doing it because I thought it was beautiful, the days passed and I kept seeing more girls doing this Trend, I was very angry not being able to do it and I did many tests to replace the material they used to create this crackle effect, originally this makeup is done with a clay mask and several layers, then you let it dry and stretch your face to get the mask to fall apart, I thought I could do it by making a mixture of cornstarch with water but obviously I only got newtonian liquid hahaha, more days passed and I tried to get the clay where I live, but here they don't sell that, so finally I got the secret formula to create this makeup without using clay.
I remembered my first steps in makeup where I always wanted to do artistic makeup, but I didn't have the materials, at that time it occurred to me to use cold paints to replace body paint and it was pretty horrible, I remembered that the paint cracked and that opened the door for me today to recreate this broken doll.
So, I made a mixture of white acrylic paint, a little water and cornstarch, I joined all these ingredients to create a kind of dense cream, first I did the test on my hand, I put 4 layers and then I started to move my hand with force to make the cracks and it worked, I just had to start then my makeup, I hope you like it.
I started by cleaning and moisturizing my face, then I applied black body paint all over my face and sealed it with translucent powder, I took the mixture I made and started to apply it all over my face, I let it dry and applied another layer, and so on until completing three layers, you don't know how hard it was to keep still while the mixture was drying, if I moved my face it could ruin everything and seeing my face like that made me laugh a lot, but I had to hold on.
With those three coats was enough, it looked pretty thick the white base, then I started to paint, first I applied blush on my cheeks in an orange tone, then I used browns to create contours on the nose and eyes, I also gave more depth to the eye makeup with black shadow, for my lips I used a red tone and blurred it on the edges, after I had my makeup ready, I started to stretch my face, I opened my mouth and started to fall the pieces of mixture that were already dry, I really saw the cracks just as I wanted them, that broken effect that is the essence of this makeup was there, I continued stretching my face until I had enough cracks and then I only needed to glue false eyelashes.
And so I finally managed to recreate this trend, if you like it and want to try it, you know the secret in case you don't get the clay, I must warn you that it hurts a lot when you stretch the skin, but it was worth every pain hahaha.
Arte amiga.
Muchas gracias!
