Hoy celebramos la vida de todos aquellos que ya no estan con nosotros y algo muy común en este día es realizar este arte tan hermoso que son las catrinas y aunque no es una tradición en mi país, estoy completamente enamorada de toda esta cultura y tradicion, como todos los años, he realizado en esta misma fecha un maquillaje de Catrina, me encantan las catrinas pero me gusta mucho mas esperar a esta fecha tan especial para hacer mi versión, en los anteriores años he usado colores como el azul, otra amarilla, incluso rosa, hoy decidí cambiar un poco y hacer una catrina super colorida usando colores neón, donde el principal protagonista quería que fuese el morado, busque una imagen de referencia que era completamente naranja pero sinceramente cuando empecé a pintar decidí hacer mi propia versión cambiando el diseño por completo y la elección de colores, cada minuto se me ocurría agregar mas detalles y fue un trabajo muy satisfactorio para mí, es una de las catrinas que mas me ha gustado hacer y estoy realmente muy feliz, espero que les guste y Feliz día de los muertos!

Today we celebrate the life of all those who are no longer with us and something very common on this day is to make this beautiful art that are the catrinas and although it is not a tradition in my country, I am completely in love with all this culture and tradition, as every year, I have made on this same date a Catrina makeup, I love the catrinas but I like much more to wait for this special date to make my version, in previous years I have used colors like blue, other yellow, even pink, today I decided to change a little and make a super colorful catrina using neon colors, where the main protagonist I wanted to be purple, I looked for a reference image that was completely orange but honestly when I started painting I decided to make my own version changing the design completely and the choice of colors, every minute I could think of adding more details and it was a very satisfying work for me, it is one of the catrinas that I have liked to do and I am really very happy, I hope you like it and Happy Day of the Dead!
Proceso/Process
Empecé sellando mis cejas con pegamento en barra, aplique 6 capas y deje secar, luego selle con polvo traslucido y encima coloque pintura corporal blanca, esparcí la pintura por todo el rostro y luego selle con polvo traslucido nuevamente, usando un delineador morado neón empecé a realizar la forma en mis ojos, empecé haciendo un círculo y luego pinte bultos pequeños alrededor para hacer esa forma de flor en ambos ojos, agregue puntos de color naranja neón y rosa neón, para la nariz tambien pinte con rosa y un borde negro, agregue un corazón en el centro de mi frente y lo rellene con sombra monocromática naranja, pinte el borde del corazón con negro.
I started by sealing my eyebrows with glue stick, I applied 6 coats and let it dry, then I sealed with translucent powder and on top I put white body paint, I spread the paint all over my face and then sealed with translucent powder again, using a neon purple eyeliner I started to make the shape on my eyes, I started by making a circle and then painted small bumps around it to make that flower shape on both eyes, I added neon orange and neon pink dots, for the nose I also painted with pink and a black border, I added a heart in the center of my forehead and filled it with orange monochromatic eyeshadow, I painted the border of the heart with black.
Dibuje una telaraña colgando del corazón usando lápiz de ojos negro liquido y coloque pequeños puntos naranja neón en cada extremo de la telaraña, a partir de este punto es complicado explicar todo lo que hice, incluso olvide tomar fotos de cada figura que pinte, me concentre muchísimo en agregar detalles que se me ocurría, intente ser lo mas precisa posible en cada trazo, es difícil pero siento que quedo bastante bien todo, use un labial rojo para crear un contraste diferente y tambien pinte sombra morada y negra los pómulos dando ese efecto de calavera, y con naranja, fucisa y rosa añadí pequeños detalles alrededor de todo el rostro.
Para las fotos utilice una corona de flores y luces led para resaltar aun mas esos tonos neón, tenia pensado usar velas y asi obtener fotos mas increíbles, pero me di cuenta que se me acabaron las velas cuando iba a tomar las fotos, aun asi me enamore de este maquillaje, enserio, estoy muy feliz.
I drew a spider web hanging from the heart using black liquid eye pencil and placed small neon orange dots at each end of the spider web, from this point on it is complicated to explain everything I did, I even forgot to take pictures of each figure I painted, I concentrated a lot on adding details that I could think of, I tried to be as precise as possible in each stroke, it's difficult but I feel that everything turned out pretty well, I used a red lipstick to create a different contrast and I also painted purple and black shadow on the cheekbones giving that skull effect, and with orange, hard pink and pink I added small details around the whole face.
For the pictures I used a flower crown and led lights to highlight even more those neon tones, I had planned to use candles to get more amazing pictures, but I realized that I ran out of candles when I was going to take the pictures, even so I fell in love with this makeup, really, I'm very happy.
