Mi hermana @rosemariam me hizo saber de este reto propuesto por @mintdreams en la comunidad MakeUp Power, cuya temática es sobre personajes del increíble director Tim Burton. Me animé a hacerlo porque soy fan y me encantan algunas de sus películas, ademas es algo diferente y encuentro entretenido hacer algo así.
Para hacer este reto le pedí ayuda a mi amiga Angela, que además de maquillarme, hizo el rol de Victoria Collins. Y a mi amigo Jim para las fotos. Me gocé una bola haciendo esto, pasamos un buen rato.
My sister @rosemariam told me about this challenge proposed by @mintdreams in the MakeUp Power community, whose theme is about characters from the incredible director Tim Burton. I was motivated to participate because I'm fan and I love some of his movies and also I see this as something different and entertaining. I've done something like this with other characters before, but for the Halloween parties.
To do this challenge I asked my friend Angela to help me with my makeup, who in addition to doing my makeup, played the role of Victoria Collins and my friend Jim for the photos. I really enjoyed doing this, we had a good time.
Tim Burton es caracterizado por su peculiaridad, excentricidad y lo arriesgado que es a la hora de crear sus personajes o darle forma a su versión y visión. Si bien algunas de sus películas no han cumplido, superado las expectativas o roto la taquilla. Hay que reconocer que su éxito en otras entregas y su creatividad es sin igual van mucho más allá que sus fracasos.
Tim Burton is characterized by his peculiarity, eccentricity and how risky he is when creating his characters or shaping his version and vision. While some of his films have not exceeded expectations or broken the box office. It must be recognized that his success in other installments and his creativity is unsurpassed go far beyond his failures.
Para este reto elegí el personaje de Barnabas Collins de la película de Sombras Tenebrosas. Esta película fue basada en una serie televisiva emitida desde 1966 hasta 1971, trasmitida por la cadena ABC, la cual contó con más de 1000 episodios. Tim Burton tuvo que adaptar lo más resaltante de esa comedia de tal trayectoria a un filme con duración de poco menos de 2 horas.
For this challenge I choiced the character of Barnabas Collins from the film Dark Shadows. This film was based on a television series broadcast from 1966 to 1971, broadcast by the ABC network, which had more than 1000 episodes. Tim Burton had to adapt the highlight of that comedy of such a career to a film with a duration of just under 2 hours.

Para finalizar les comparto una pequeña interpretacion que hicimos
Como pudimos observar al final de la película, Victoria huye tras la revelación de la verdadera identidad de Barnabas. Molesto, Barnabas irrumpe en la oficina de Angelique para exigirle que lo libere de su maldición, y mientras ella le ofrece sangre debido a que ella sabe que Julia ya no está para proporcionarle transfusiones de sangre, también amenaza con hacer que Victoria se lance de Widow's Hill, de la misma manera que hizo con Josette, y le ofrece un ultimátum, o se convierte en su compañero y amante o vuelve a encerrarlo en un ataúd. Con Barnabas rechazando la primera opción, ella procede a encerrarlo, esta vez colocándolo en el Mausoleo de la Familia Collins. Poco después, es encontrado y liberado por David.
En un intento por rescatar a Victoria, Barnabas evita que salte y se niega a convertirla en un vampiro para salvarla del eterno sufrimiento como inmortal, a pesar de su petición. Triste, Victoria se arroja desde el acantilado de todos modos, Barnabas se arroja tras ella, y sabiendo que al caer sólo él podría sobrevivir, decide compartír su maldición con ella mordiendola para poder salvarla. Acto seguido ella se despierta, pidiéndole que la llame Josette, y las dos se besan apasionadamente en la costa rocosa.
To finish I share a little interpretation that we did:
As we could see at the end of the film, Victoria flees after the revelation of Barnabas's true identity. Annoyed, Barnabas bursts into Angelique's office to demand that she release him from his curse, and while she offers him blood because she knows that Julia is no longer there to provide transfusions of her vital liquid, he also threatens to make Victoria throw herself out from the Widow's. Hill, in the same way she did with Josette, and offers him an ultimatum, or becomes in her partner and lover or locks him back in a coffin. With Barnabas rejecting the first option, she proceeds to lock him up, this time placing him in the Collins Family Mausoleum. Soon after, David finds him and frees him.
In an attempt to rescue Victoria, Barnabas prevents her from jumping and refuses to turn her into a vampire to save her from eternal suffering as an immortal. Despite her request, sad, Victoria throws herself off the cliff anyway, Barnabas throws himself after her, and knowing that by falling only he could survive, he decides to share his curse with her by biting her in order to save her. She then wakes up, asking him to call her Josette, and the two passionately kiss on the rocky shore.
