Yo en lo particular no me maquillo, no dibujo, no pinto, nada relacionado con este arte. Pero hoy me desperté con las ganas de maquillarme en homenaje a la firma del acta de Independencia de Venezuela, aprovechando que todo el mundo dormía, tomé el maquillaje de mi hija y manos a la obra, sin que me vieran, opinaran, criticaran o me diera pena.Hoy me desperté de madrugada con una idea en mi cabeza, celebrar el día de la independencia como nunca antes lo había hecho. Siempre veo a mi hija @ambarvegas maquillándose y hablando de la comunidad Make Up Power, de sus iniciativas, retos y concursos.
Hoy 5 de julio de 2021, se cumplen 210 años de la firma del acta de independencia, 5 de julio de 1811. Yo recuerdo haber visto esa acta en el Concejo Municipal, en Caracas.
Lo primero que hice fue la limpieza facial e hidratación para tener listo el lienzo de mi rostro.
Luego apliqué el corrector naranja para disimular ojeras.
Luego apliqué base correctora en todo el rostro para unificar color y disimular imperfecciones.
Dibujé el acta de la independencia con la pluma en mi mejilla.
En la otra mejilla dibujé la bandera de Venezuela.
Después maquillajé mis ojos con el tricolor, tambien apliqué sombra con brillo, con escarcha en mi rostro.Hice un caminito iluminado en mi nariz.
Le agregé las estrellas a la bandera y maquillé mis labios.
Aqui resultado final.
Para mi no fue fácil este maquillaje, yo no veo sin lentes, asi que maquillarme me costó mucho, eso de tomarme las fotos yo sola con la camarita de mi celular tampoco fue fácil. Fue divertido hacerlo sola, a escondidas, y lo que mas me gustó es ver las caras de sorpresa de los miembros de mi familia al verme.

But today I woke up with the desire to make up in honor of the signing of the Act of Independence of Venezuela, taking advantage of the fact that everyone was asleep, I took my daughter's makeup and got down to work, without being seen, criticized or embarrassed.Today I woke up in the wee hours of the morning with an idea in my head, to celebrate Independence Day like I've never done before. I always see my daughter @ambarvegas doing her makeup and talking about the Make Up Power community, its initiatives, challenges and contests.
Today, July 5, 2021, is the 210th anniversary of the signing of the Act of Independence. I remember having seen that act in the Municipal Council in Caracas.
The first thing I did was facial cleansing and moisturizing to have the canvas of my face ready.
Then I applied orange concealer to hide dark circles under my eyes.
Then I applied concealer foundation all over my face to unify color and conceal imperfections.
I drew the act of independence with the pen on my cheek.
On the other cheek I drew the Venezuelan flag.
Then I made up my eyes with the tricolor, I also applied glitter shadow, with frost on my face, I made a little illuminated path on my nose.
I added the stars to the flag and made up my lips.
Here is the final result.
This makeup was not easy for me, I can't see without glasses, so I had a hard time doing my makeup, and taking the pictures by myself with my cell phone camera was not easy either. It was fun to do it alone on the sly, and what I liked the most was to see the surprised faces of my family members when they saw me.
Today is a day to shout Freedom, freedom, freedom!
