Peripera All Take Mood Like Palette in Prestige Pink

Along with Judydoll, I also explored Korean beauty as you know they are more popular when it comes to cute makeup. :P This time, I tried the popular Peripera All Take Mood Like Palette in Prestige Pink which is supposedly a pink shade that suits all skin tones.

The images are stills from my video on Instagram since not everyone can view videos and this way I can explain quite a bit about the process cos I don't talk in videos.

I would say I have a light-medium skin tone and with Korean Beauty, my concern is always if the pigment would show up nicely on my skin given that they usually have light shades.

I'm starting with the lightest shade as a base.

Then I'm using this shade and start adding some warm pinks!

5.jpg

I used the darkest shade to line my eyes

Then at this point I was just experimenting with the colors haha. I added that peach color on the outer lids to give it more shape. My skin prep is not that good that time cos I spent a lot of time preparing my hair that my skin kinda dried... so you can see some pilling on the eye area.

Then I added the shimmers on top of them all.

I wasn't satisfied so I used the Judydoll creamy gel liner to make kinda like a cut-crease and also to brighten up the lower lids.

I added some more shimmers on top of the liner. Honestly, I can barely see the shimmers. I mean, I couldn't help but compare how Judydoll was able to create these nice very shimmery eyeshadows so I was expecting for this to be the same... especially that this is more expensive (tho I got it for sale!).

The pink one at the center of the palette is a blusher + highlighter. You can use individually or combine them so it creates a shimmery blusher. I wanted to test it individually first but it's so tiny that I had to use a tiny brush haha.

Then the highlighter for the parts of my face where you would usually see natural shine. I could say the highlighter was pretty underwhelming. T_T I had to add more just to be able to see it and it's not as obvious despite it.

I also used some of Peripera's lip products for the lips. :P

Andddd here are the results. I honestly like the pinks and how it definitely suits my skin tone. It wasn't too cool nor warm for me. It wasn't too strong/bold nor is too subtle. It's just enough. It is definitely buildable and I would say easy to blend as well.

But considering this is Kbeauty, it's no wonder they don't go for bold colors cos they are pretty much into natural look.

I'm just pretty underwhelmed with the shimmers and honestly there are a lot better palettes there for the same price or even cheaper if you're into shimmers.

But it looks really really cute honestly haha and if you don't really like having a lot of palettes on your dresser, you can just get this since they are all-around palettes anyway. :P

These are some shots that I took (and not screenshots from a video haha) and you can see there were difference in colors and contrast. The photos are more accurate than the video. I'm still experimenting with the lighting so bare with me lol.
