Trying to make this foundation shade that's way too light for my skin work

With my recent interest in Cbeauty and Kbeauty, I've tried blushes, lip products, and eyeshadows but steered away from any foundations or concealers. Most of the products from these brands only have a few shades and cater to the East Asian complexion (understandably so). Although there are a few brands that are starting to cater to more complexions like Tirtir but still I feel intimidated by their shades.

Cushion foundations are popular now in Kbeauty and I'm so curious about how it actually feels like because in the reviews you would see that they really make you glow and Kbeauty especially has that reputation of having great foundations.

I got myself a Romand Nu Zero foundation in the shade 23 Beige and I really thought it would be good for me cos base on the shade color and definition, it seems fine. Bruh it was too light for me hahah.

I wanted to have maybe a shade lighter than my neck to brighten but this one looks like 4 shades lighter and I'd look like a ghost if I wear this. :D The foundation is really good though, like seriously. I only had to tap it there once and it almost filled my whole face. The coverage is also really good and the finish is a nice satin. It's not drying either. I would say this is a really good foundation but ofc with how light that is, I gotta make some adjustments. :P

I almost gave up but then I realized I have bronzers. Luckily, despite the foundation being too light, the undertone is right for me. There is no peachiness or anything which if there was then it would be a really big no.

I used Charlotte Tilbury airbrush bronzer in the shade medium. This bronzer is very olive-friendly because it won't look orange on us. :D
I applied it on the parts where a tan would be and I applied more than I would do usually. I think I applied it almost everywhere but avoided the areas where I would naturally like to brighten with concealer.

Then I used a Romand contour palette to bring back the shape of my face lol. The right photo is what it looked like after bronzer and contour.

Then I added eyeshadow and stuff.

Then a light eyeliner and aegyosal haha. Trying to get that natural look that Koreans do.

Another thing is that I didn't expect a light cool pink will look good on me! I've always thought I should get a warm pink but cool-toned pink and sometimes even almost lavender looks so goooood.

I used Romand blush in that shade but since it was almost not visible on me, I had to layer it. Layering blushes is also good since it can give an impression of a well blended blush and also can be used to contour as well.

Then a lipstick that's not too overpowering lol. I also added a dark eyeshadow for my birthmark that I always forget cos it still shows up under the foundation very subtly and it looks weird that way. It's my birthmark anyway and my identity. :P

This is the final look and even though I'm not that used to having a foundation that's light, it still looks okay! It still looks a bit light in person but I love this foundation overall since you can see that I look really glowy. Dang those Korean actors really wear a natural-looking foundation and it's this good.

eyyy~ 😁 as a guy, cosmetics is close to witchcraft levels of sorcery!

Yeah lol. SFX makeup is even more powerful. 😂

Pretty.. d talaga ako marunong mag makeup? 😅

Haha it's ok. It's never too late to learn if you want and it not it's okay too. I don't think anybody ever needs makeup. :D Thank you!

That's why I love bronzer, fix almost everything related to foundation color...But the foundation gave you a flawless look even though the shade was too light for you...Love your look...

Indeed! Before I knew what bronzers actually do, I always hated wearing any foundation (doesn't matter the right shade) because the face feels flat... Then bronzers actually does the job of bringing back those tan and color in your face. :D

Yeah tbh I really love this one. I didn't even need a concealer to cover my undereye and dark spots. You gotta trust Korean brands with these kinds of things from now on haha

Yes, It's very difficult to find the right shade of foundation for the skin, some foundations even oxidize that's why I mostly use bronzer to give my face shape and it works... Wow, you didn't need concealer? That means it's a perfect full-coverage foundation. I love Korean skincare products but didn't know that their makeups are really good...
