Tips for bleaching hair at home.

Encantada de volver a publicar en #hive, estos días han sido difíciles en mi familia lamentablemente falleció mi abuelo, lo cual me impidió publicar estoy segura que a partir de hoy retomaré mis post diarios llenos de creatividad, tips, belleza y más curiosidades. Hace una semana realicé un pequeño cambio de look en mi cabello, como habrán notado en la foto principal llevo parte de mi cabello en color rojo y el resto en negro, debo resaltar que siempre he llevado este estilo en tonos variados aunque por un tiempo dejé mi cabello descansar de la coloración.

A week ago I made a small change in my hair look, as you may have noticed in the main picture I'm wearing part of my hair in red and the rest in black, I must emphasize that I've always worn this style in different tones but for a while I let my hair rest from the coloring.

Quiero compartir con ustedes mi experiencia con la decoloración, y brindar ciertos tips que pueden emplear si desean realizar este proceso, por supuesto; deben tener presente los riesgos que conlleva decolorar el cabello.

I want to share with you my experience with bleaching, and give you some tips that you can use if you want to do this process, of course; you must be aware of the risks involved in bleaching hair.

No aplicar si no estas seguro de lo que harás, este proceso lo hice bajo mi responsabilidad no soy estilista profesional, simplemente quiero ofrecer una guía basada en las experiencias previas que he tenido aplicando decoloración, me parece necesario resaltar ese punto para no tener inconvenientes, sin más que decir atentos a los siguientes consejos.

Do not apply if you are not sure what you will do, this process was done under my responsibility I am not a professional stylist, I simply want to offer a guide based on the previous experiences I have had applying bleaching, I think it is necessary to emphasize that point so as not to have any inconvenience, without more than saying pay attention to the following advice.

Tip 1.

Acondicionar profundamente el cabello: Días previos a la decoloración suelo hidratar todo mi cabello de forma profunda, para ello empleo aceite de coco que es ideal para reducir el daño, y lograr mantener el cabello en buen estado, hidrato el cabello durante 4 días este paso es el más importante y no debe excluirse a la hora de decolorar.

Deeply condition the hair: Days before bleaching I usually hydrate all my hair deeply, for this I use coconut oil which is ideal to reduce damage, and manage to keep the hair in good condition, I hydrate the hair for 4 days this step is the most important and should not be excluded when bleaching.

Tip 2.

No decolorar si tu cabello es quebradizo: Una decoloración es un proceso fuerte de perdida de color del cabello, no sometas tu cabello a tal cosa si notas que no esta lo suficientemente fuerte para soportar el proceso, si tienes un cabello quebradizo, que se cae y sufre de resequedad lo mejor es fortalecer con mascarillas y tratamientos durante un tiempo, y abstenerte de la decoloración.

Don't bleach if your hair is brittle: Bleaching is a strong process of hair color loss, don't subject your hair to it if you notice it's not strong enough to withstand the process, if you have brittle, falling out and dry hair it's best to strengthen it with masks and treatments for a while, and refrain from bleaching.

Tip 3.

La aplicación: La forma que aplicó el decolorante es dejando 6 cm de la raíz, y empiezo a esparcir la mezcla dejando de igual manera las puntas libres del producto, al cabo de 15 minutos aplico en las areas restantes.

Application: The way I applied the bleach is leaving 6 cm from the root, and I start to spread the mixture leaving equally the free ends of the product, after 15 minutes I apply in the remaining areas.

Tip 4.

El tiempo: Cuando aplico por completo la mezcla, cada 10 minutos reviso como esta cambiando el color hasta obtener el tono que deseado, para lograr el color rojo fantasía que ven en las fotos, fueron necesarias dos decoloraciones que realicé en un lapso de 2 semanas, 1 semana una decoloración y la otra semana la siguiente.

Time: When I apply the mixture completely, every 10 minutes I check how the color is changing until I get the tone I want, to achieve the fantasy red color you see in the photos, it was necessary two discolorations that I made in a period of 2 weeks, 1 week a discoloration and the other week the next.

Tip 5.

Cuidar después de decolorar: Los días siguientes de la coloración debe monitorearse el comportamiento del cabello, no someterlo a temperaturas intensas con la plancha o el secador, no lavarlo días seguidos, y aplicar acondicionadores de forma profunda.

Take care after bleaching: On the days following coloring, monitor the behavior of the hair, do not subject it to intense temperatures with the iron or dryer, do not wash it for days in a row, and apply conditioners deeply.

Estos simples consejos pueden hacer la diferencia a la hora de decolorar el cabello, a mi me han servido a la perfección, claramente no son un seguro de que la decoloración no causará daños, pero son medidas preventivas que al seguirlas le dan un soporte a tu cabello. Espero les sirvan tanto como a mi.

These simple tips can make a difference when it comes to bleaching your hair, they have served me perfectly, clearly they are not a guarantee that bleaching will not cause damage, but they are preventive measures that by following them give your hair support.
