Esta semana nos vestimos con nuestros mejores trajes para presentar este Makeup Challange. Nuestra tematica es Social Glam, un maquillaje para todos, sin importar el tono de piel o la cultura, este estilo puede adaptarse a cualquiera. Con esta tecnica se busca resaltar la belleza de cada persona, principalmente para algun evento o situación especial. Estos maquillajes sociales son de los más solicitados a los maquilladores.
This week we dressed up in our best suits to present this Makeup Challange. Our theme is Social Glam, a makeup for everyone, regardless of skin tone or culture, this style can be adapted to anyone. With this technique we seek to highlight the beauty of each person, mainly for some event or special situation. These social make-ups are among the most requested to make-up artists.
Por mi parte, en las pocas experiencias que he tenido maquillando a otras personas, todos mis trabajos han sido sociales. Así que ya tengo un poco de experiencia haciendo este tipo de looks, me pareció una buena idea traerla como propuesta al Makeup Challenge, así todos podemos mejorar esta técnica, ya sea para maquillar a otros o simplemente hacernos un maquillaje para algún evento.
For my part, in the few experiences I have had making up other people, all my work has been social. So I already have some experience doing this kind of looks, I thought it was a good idea to bring it as a proposal to the Makeup Challenge, so we can all improve this technique, either to make up others or simply make up for some event.
Iniciando con los ojos, con mis cejas ya listas y el parpado preparado con prebase para sombras. Aplico una sombra marrón clara, con una brocha para difumar, siendo este el tono de transición. Luego profundizo con un marrón más intenso, con subtonalidad neutra. Como un toque, aplico un dorado a manera de corte de cuenta y finalizo con un delineado.
Starting with the eyes, with my eyebrows ready and the eyelid prepared with a shadow base. I apply a light brown shadow, with a brush to blur, this being the transition tone. Then I deepen with a more intense brown, with neutral subtone. As a touch, I apply a golden bead cut and finish with an outline.
Luego pasé a la piel, después de prepararla con primer, empiezo aplicando base de alta cobertura por todo mi rostro. Luego un corrector, igualmente de alta cobertura, para neutralizar, y un corrector de cobertura baja para iluminar. Después aplico contorno en crema para definir mi rostro, aplicando las técnicas de contornos generales.
Then I move to the skin, after preparing it with primer, I start applying high coverage base all over my face. Then a concealer, also high coverage, to neutralize, and a low coverage concealer to brighten. Then I apply contour cream to define my face, using general contouring techniques.
Sello todo mi rostro con polvo compacto y marco el contorno con el mismo polvo, utilizando una esponja de maquillaje. También selle el contorno con bronzer en polvo, aplique rubor. Finalmente hice uso de mucho iluminador en los puntos altos de mi rostro: Pómulo, puente de la nariz, arco de cupido de los labios, hueso de la ceja y lagrimal.
I seal my entire face with compact powder and frame the contour with the same powder, using a makeup sponge. Also seal the contour with bronzer powder, apply blush. Finally I used a lot of illuminator in the high points of my face: cheekbone, bridge of the nose, cupid's arch of the lips, eyebrow bone and teardrop.
Finalizo mi look con unos labios rojos, esos que no me pueden faltar en un tipo de maquillaje como este. Al igual que utilice mis pestañas postizas favoritas, perfecta para marcar la mirada. Y como es un look muy glam, estuve usando un vestido rojo muy elegante, acompañándolo con accesorios dorados, mis argollas más grandes, anillos y un collar.
I finish my look with red lips, those that I can't miss in a makeup type like this. Just like I used my favorite false eyelashes, perfect for marking the look. And since it's a very glamorous look, I was wearing a very elegant red dress, accompanying it with golden accessories, my biggest rings, rings and a necklace.
Este look fue bastante sencillo, estuvo enfocado en un evento de tarde. Pronto, si el tiempo juega a mi favor, les estaré mostrando un Social Glam enfocado en la noche, mucho más intenso que este. This look was quite simple, it was focused on an evening event. Soon, if time plays in my favor, I will be showing you a Social Glam focused on the night, much more intense than this one.
