El día de hoy, quiero compartir con ustedes cuales son los errores más comunes que cometemos al momento de maquillarnos y, que por muy pequeño que parezca puede cambiar totalmente nuestra apariencia de manera negativa, esto debido a que el maquillaje puede ser un arma de doble filo, así como nos puede hacer vernos muy bien, también podemos vernos mal. Espero que este post te sirva de mucho, y si estas empezando en el mundo del maquillaje tengas muy en cuenta cuales son las cosas que NO debes o que por lo menos deberías evitar hacer.
Today I want to share with you what are the most common mistakes we make when applying makeup and that as small as it may seem can totally change our appearance in a negative way, this because makeup can be a double-edged sword, as well as we can make us look great, we can also look bad. 1.- Aplicar una base que no va bien con nuestro tono de piel: el primer error que cometemos es elegir mal nuestra base, puede pasarnos que al querer empezar a maquillarnos creemos que cualquier tono tal cual como se vea en el empaque nos quedará bien a nosotros, y NO, lo ideal es probarla en el cuello o en nuestra muñeca, de esta manera conseguiremos el más adecuado para nuestro tono de piel. Si aplicamos una base mucho más clara solo haremos que nuestro maquillaje se vea muy mal, casi siempre más blanco que nuestro cuello, y para nada que se ve bien. ¡Asegúrate de elegir bien el tono de tu base!.
1.- Applying a foundation that does not go well with our skin tone: the first mistake we make is to choose our foundation wrong, it can happen that when we want to start applying makeup we think that any shade as it looks on the package will look good on us, and NO, the ideal is to try it on the neck or on our wrist, this way we will get the most suitable for our skin tone. If we apply a much lighter foundation we will only make our makeup look very bad, almost always whiter than our neck, and not at all that looks good. Make sure you choose the right shade of your foundation!
2.-Aplicar demasiado producto, a veces menos es mas, no es necesario que apliquemos gran cantidad de producto y nos hagamos la idea de que mientras más apliquemos, mucho mejor se verá nuestro maquillaje, porque no es así, lo que logramos es que se vea parchado, con grumos e incluso agrietado esto puede pasar con nuestra base, corrector, con nuestro contorno, o rubor.
Applying too much product, sometimes less is more, it is not necessary to apply a large amount of product and we get the idea that the more we apply, the better our makeup will look, because it is not so, what we get is that it looks patchy, with lumps and even cracked, this can happen with our foundation, concealer, with our contour, or blush.
3.- No difuminar bien los productos que apliquemos, la base, el corrector, las sombras, el rubor.. Todos estos productos necesitan ser bien difuminados para que no queden marcados de lo contrario conseguiremos que nuestro rostro se vea super cargado y pesado e incluso con un aspecto desagradable y generalmente como en el caso del rubor es solo para simular el color natural de nuestras mejillas, por lo que no deberíamos aplicar tanto y mostrar un efecto extremadamente cargado.

4.- Marcar demasiado las cejas o maquillarlas muy artificiales, este es uno de los errores que más cometemos cuando queremos aprender hacer nuestras cejas, y de verdad que es algo grave, las cejas siempre son parte fundamental de nuestra expresión y la forma en la que las hagas puede cambiar totalmente tu rostro. No utilices por favor alguna sombra, pomada o lápiz del mismo color de tu cabello, siempre hazlo con un tono o 2 más claro que tu cabello de lo contrario te podrás ver mayor, tampoco las marqués tanto, con rellenar los pequeños espacios que están vacíos estará perfecto. Mientras más naturales se vean, vas a lucir mejor. ¡Práctica hasta conseguirlo!
4.- Marking the eyebrows too much or making them too artificial, this is one of the mistakes we make the most when we want to learn how to do our eyebrows, and it is really something serious, eyebrows are always a fundamental part of our expression and the way you do them can totally change your face. Please do not use any shadow, pomade or pencil of the same color of your hair, always do it with a tone or 2 lighter than your hair otherwise you can look older, do not mark them so much, just fill in the small spaces that are empty will be perfect. The more natural they look, the better you will look. Practice until you get it!
5.-Aplicar mucha sombra y no difuminar, podemos llegar a creer que mientras más sombras apliquemos los colores se verán mucho mejor y la mayoría del tiempo el resultado no es nada agradable. Hay maquillajes con Full color pero siempre se complementan con una buena técnica de difuminado.

6.- Delinear nuestro ojo sin conocerlo aún, debemos buscar la mejor manera de delinearlo. Muchas veces hacemos que nuestro ojo se vea muy grande, o muy pequeño y con una mirada caída.

7.- Aplicar un labial muy fuerte o que no va muy bien con nuestro tono de piel. Hay que saber realizar contraste en nuestro maquillaje. Si llevamos un maquillaje muy cargado en los ojos es mejor que nuestros labios no llamen tanto la atención, y viceversa. Así mismo, si es un maquillaje diario no creo que sea buena idea aplicar un labial rojo. Encuentra la técnica y el tono indicado!
Applying a very strong lipstick or one that does not go very well with our skin tone. We must know how to contrast our makeup. If we wear a very heavy makeup on the eyes, it is better that our lips do not attract so much attention, and vice versa. Likewise, if it is a daily makeup I don't think it is a good idea to apply a red lipstick. Find the right technique and the right shade!

Me ha encantado tu post, he cometido varios errores de los que nombras, sobre todo con las bases, ya que mi tono de piel es más amarilla y me colocaba bases para piel rosada, aún me cuesta difuminar las sombras, en las cejas si no cometo errores pues no me gusta hacerme las cejas, máximo las peino y coloco como dices un poquito de sombra en algunos espacios que ya conozco. Pero si hay que estar atentos, a mí me ha costado aprender a maquillarme porque soy de párpado caído, así que es todo un reto. Abrazos. Gracias por toda la información.
@zullyscott Muchas gracias!!, me alegra que te haya gustado este post, es normal que cometamos algunos de estos errores, paso a paso con mucha practica iremos corrigiendo, yo he cometido muchísimos cuando comencé a maquillarme casi no sabia nada pero gracias a las practicas he mejorado. Espero que puedas seguir viendo mis publicaciones, lo que me comentas sobre el parpado caído de verdad que es complicado para muchos, pero realmente si se puede lograr un lindo maquillaje, pronto publicare unas técnicas que seguro te pueden funcionar.
