Watermelon sugar HIGH!

in MakeUp Power3 years ago (edited)

Hello hivers, hope y'all are safe and sound. I'm back after a small break, to be honest I was just lazy and caught up with my college's work. Anyways , this is the look for the day!

This really reminds of the song watermelon sugar highhhh by the Harry Styles, for obvious reasons because this is a watermelon inspired look. Hope you guys like it!❤️

Products required for the look:

  1. primer
  2. foundation
  3. concealer
  4. blender
  5. makeup brushes
  6. eye shadow
  7. eyeliner
  8. mascara
  9. blush
    10.lipstick

This look was very easy to create and it just requires basic makeup that we already have. The best part is this doesn't take lot of time. Started off by prepping my face before applying any makeup. Cleansed my face and moisturized effeciently. I prefer my base to be glossy so I applied a glossy primer.

Priming your face first is important to achieve a flawless base. You can go in with whatever primer you prefer. For this look I would suggest you to start with the eyelook. That's what is more suitable if you are going for a dramatic eye look. But since I forgot about it I started with the base.

Now I'm applying a light to medium coverage foundation all over my face and blending it well using a makeup blender. Even if I use a makeup brush for the base I use a for the final touch so that there are no visible strokes.

Next I'm applying concealer under my eyes to highlight my eye look. For all this you should go for a concealer that's lighter than your actual shade or skin tone. Also applying the concealer on the eyelids and the cheeks so that the look stands out. I have used the bare minimum so that it does not look cakey. Again blending it well using the same blender but on the other side.

Once I'm done with the concealing I'm kinda baking it with a loose powder. Using a loose powder very lightly and not letting it sit too long, just so that the concealer doesn't crease out.

Next I'm starting with the eyelook, should've done this before but that's okay! Using a light green shade as a transition shade all over the crease using a fluffy blending brush. Then going in with a darker green and applying it on the outer corner of the eye using a flat blending brush. Then I applied green shimmer shade on the inner corner of the eye using a flat brush. I've used setting spray on the eye brushes that I've used for a better pigment.

To complete the eye look I'm using a regular ye liner and drawing a cat eyeliner. Was confused between foxy and cat liner but ended up doing this as always. I'm also applying mascara because it makes instantly everything look good. I'm not using false lashes because I wanted to keep it minimal.

Next I'm going with the blush. I'm applying loads of it to achieve that extra pinky almost red watermelon color. Just using it all over my cheeks and bridge of my nose.

Here comes the most important part of this look that is drawing the seeds. Without the seeds it just looks like a regular makeup routine. Once I'm done with the blush I started drawing the seeds using an eyeliner. It's very simple just that you have to do it slowly. Don't do it too close or far. Drawing the seeds actually changed the whole look.
