For us who are lovers of makeup, Halloween is a very special holiday, because through it, we can let our imagination fly and become characters that we do not usually have in our daily lives. I already had a feeling that this week challenge would be related to the holiday and when I saw it, I immediately thought about what to do. I looked for inspiration in several pictures and I ended up making this Catrina. Enjoy the step by step I explain below.
Para nosotros los amantes del mundo del maquillaje, Halloween es una festividad muy especial, ya que a través de ella, podemos dejar volar nuestra imaginación y convertirnos en personajes qué no solemos lucir en nuestra vida cotidiana. Ya tenía el presentimiento que el challenge de esta semana sería relacionado con la festividad y al verlo, inmediatamente pensé en que hacer. Busqué inspiración en varias fotos y así terminé haciendo esta Catrina. Disfruten del paso a paso que dejó a continuación.
To start with the makeup, I washed and moisturized my face. Then, I defined my eyebrows with a brown eyebrow shadow and I applied cream concealer to prepare the eye area, then, I sealed this product with translucent powder.
Para empezar con el maquillaje, lavé y humecté mi rostro. Luego, definí mis cejas con una sombra color café y use corrector en crema para preparar el área de los ojos, luego lo sellé con polvo traslúcido.
I used a black shadow all over the eyelid and I applied some on the lower area.
Utilice sombra negra en todo el párpado y aplique un poco en el área inferior.
In the external eye area, I used a reddish terracotta shadow.
En el área más externa del ojo utilicé una sombra rojiza terracota.
Now it is the moment to apply foundation on the face. Besides, I drew some lines with concealer that would serve as a guide in the contour of catrina's cheekbones.
Es el turno de aplicar base sobre el rostro. Además de la base, hice unas líneas con corrector que me servirían de guía en el contorno de los pómulos de la catrina.
To give that depth effect, I used black shadow.
Para darle ese efecto de un invento de cómo lo utilizamos sombra negra.
To soften the lines of the previously used shadow, I combined two brown shades of different intensities.
Para difuminar el paso anterior se utilizó dos sombras café, una clara y otra oscura.
I drew a skull shape nose and I filled it in with the same black shadow.
Me dibujé la forma de la nariz de forma calaverística y la rellené con la misma sombra negra.
I made curved lines in red distributed by the face.
Hice líneas curvas en color rojo distribuidas por el rostro.
Finally, I made the lines on the lips, I used a little lip gloss on top and put some glitter. The makeup was ready! I hope you liked it. Please comment below what you think about it. The pictures were taken with my Huawei PSmart and edited using Canva.
Cómo detalles finales, hice las líneas que correspondían a los labios, usé un poco de brillo labial encima y coloque algunas brillantinas. ¡El maquillaje estaba listo! Espero que les haya gustado.
