It's been a while since I posted here in this community. I really want to go back and write a blog about make-up, but I don't have the confidence to face the camera again because I haven't taken care of my face. I also had a lot of pimples in the past few months due to stress and depression, but now here I am in front of you, even though my face is not that good yet. I tried again to give myself a chance to face the camera again, even though I look like this.
I bought a mini ring light last weekend, and I wrote a review about it here. Like I said, I will use that to do live selling on Tiktok to gain more income, and that is what I did yesterday. I do live selling and promoting the products that I use in makeup. Doing my make-up in front of many people yesterday was a very hard thing to do for me because I was so shy to do it, especially since Bro. @tpkidkai was there, watching me. It's kind of awkward, you know, because it's my first time. But I'm glad that I have many people watching and asking questions about the product that I am using. I just hope that they will buy some.
Anyway, aside from live selling, I also bought the mini ring light so I could take a picture or video to write a makeup blog here. Well, I was nervous right now to post my own make-up thing because, when I visited this community again, there were a lot of ladies who were really talented in doing their make-up, and seeing their blogs and pictures made me hope that I could be like them too, and because of that, I am inspired to post again here.
So for today's blog, let me introduce to you the product that I am using in doing my make-up. I will also share my thoughts about this product after using it. So let's start.
So sorry if I didn't manage your expectations, but this is how I really look in person. This is my bare face right now. Since I didn't take care of myself for a long time. I gain a lot of weight, and I do have a lot of pimple marks and everything that you see there.
Anyway, if you will start your makeup, it's important to clip your long hair using a clam or ponytail. You can also use a headband. Make sure that no strand of hair can distract you from putting on your makeup.
The first and most important thing to put on after applying your own skincare is primer. Putting primer on will help us blend the foundation, face powder, and anything else that we will put on our face. If you do not put primer on, you can expect that the foundation and anything else that you put on your face will be cakey.
I am using this Sacelady primer. My first impression of this product is that it's easy to run out because it's so small. But after using it a few times, it's amazing because it doesn't seem to diminish. Another thing to expect is that this is made with water, but it's made like a liquid gel. What I don't like about this is that when you apply it, it's so oily. But that is just after when you apply it on your face but when it stays on your face for a few seconds, it will be smooth on the skin.
In the past, I didn't have a BB cushion. I am only using BB cream that I bought at Watson's. If I compare it with BB cream, BB cushion is better because it's easy to blend and it will make your skin smoother and shinnier, like glass skin. Bb cream is just a matte type of cream, and it makes your face thick. Unlike BB Cushion, it's just a little thinner than foundation, so when you apply it to your face, it looks like you didn't apply any.
See? I really like this Sacelady Bb Cushion because it's lightweight when you apply it to your face, and this product covers all the ugliness I don't want to see on my face. Compare it to my bare face that I uploaded above.
The next step is to apply liquid foundation and concealer to cover our dark eyebags, pimple marks or dark spots, and anything else that we need to cover.
I am using Sacelady liquid foundation and concealer. To be honest, I don't like the concealer that was put in a flat container. I prefer to use a concealer stick made with a liquid because it is easy to blend, unlike concealer creams, which you need to blend with your finger.
Putting concealer on is not something you need to make stylish. Just put it your own way. As for me, if that's how I put it on, then that's it. Haha
Next, we will use a face powder so that the foundation and concealer will not make our face oily. What I really like about this Sacelady face powder is that I used it to attend the wedding of my grandparents and the graduation of my older sister. In advertisements, this can stay in our faces for 24 hours. It's waterproof. And it really stayed on my face, and my make-up didn't disappear, even though I was sweating. I didn't need to retouch it again.
Next, we will put on loose powder. Putting on loose powder is a great help so that we can put on our contour without being messy. Because contour powder or cream is messy when we put it on our face.
This is my first time trying a different shade of contour powder. I always use a darker one, but now I tried the lighter and pinkish one because I always saw this color on some make-up artists, and I think that this color is not used all the time because it seems that the make-up artists are used to using the dark brown color, so let's try this color. And it's just fun because now many make-up artists are paying attention to this kind of color, and they have also given this color shade a chance to shine and be used on their faces instead of the usual dark color that they put on.
It still depends on the color of our skin.
Now, this is the most exciting part for me. Because I will put on eyeshadow. You know, I really love blending different kinds of eyeshadows on my eyelids. We will try this Revolution make-up palette that my Tita-ninang gave to me when she comes home to our place.
The first thing that I did was put a nude brown color as the base color on the outer corner part. Then, I used a color called magenta as a second makeup base on the same part.
Next, I put another color, which is the color magenta but with glitter to make it shine as a third base. I forgot to take a picture when I also put concealer again from the inner corner part to the eyelid, and I applied a white shade of eyeshadow on that part, and lastly, I also put the same color as the third base color shade on a tear duct part.
Wow! I like this eyeshadow palette. It really gave me an expensive result. Compare to the eyeshadow palette that I bought cheaply online. I guess this is really a good brand. It's my first time knowing that there's a 'Revolution' makeup brand and searching it online for this kind of small palette that costs Php 500.00 for just 8 small squares. My god! But the result explains why this is kind of a little bit expensive. Look at the result; it was a good eyeshadow palette for beginners, and you can bring it and wear it to some small events like pageants.
For the last part, I just put eyeliner, mascara, blush on, lipstick, lipgloss, highlighter and this is the final look
I didn't fix my eyebrows because I prefer them to be natural. I also have fake magnetic eyelashes here, but I didn't put them on because I forgot to buy eyelash glue. The magnetic part of my fake eyelashes seems to not be working well. I also felt sad because I was too excited to put them on, but then... that happened. I will try to put them on soon after I fix it.

Try to learn basic make up ate ropa. Alam kong pretty ka kapag naka make up ✨️ gora! Bagay sayo mga simple na kulay ng eyeshadows.

I do not have any idea how to apply cosmetic products (makeup) however, I have some idea of how it works. In my circle of friends, none of us know how to do one. They only know the light application of makeup like powder and lip tint. But we all wanted to have a friend who can since it is quite convenient especially if there are special occasions to attend to. Nice product review by the way.

Playing with eyeshadow is my favorite thing to do in makeup, that’s also why I don’t know much about primers concealers foundation etc hahahahaI read everything @xanreo because tbh, I like makeup but I don’t know how to get it done

I don't have a video po but I uploaded a video on Tiktuk and YT before because I was bored. I just look different because I'm not stressed haha but that video is just the same as what I did here. Pero you can see how I applied eyeshadow naman doon.
To be honest, when applying eyeshadow, whatever color I see that matches the first base color is what I use. But sometimes applying eyeshadow depends on what you're wearing, what event you're attending, how you feel, or the design you want (you can get an idea from characters like powerpuff girls like that)
Well, there are no rules for applying makeup. What kind of makeup you have depends on what you use first, except, of course, the primer. Sometimes there are makeup artists who have a different makeup style. So those things—you don't have to follow them all. Your own beauty, your own style.
