You know what's really funny? When you plant a tree, you have to water the tree even if it rains.
Not because the roots need more water but so that the soil settles.
So "unfortunately" you could say that the meme doesn't work that way.

You are correct trees need water. They were watering the tree in the rain....use your brain for a moment and think if they were watering the tree with water or some magical water. It was a photo op as you can see, the point is that they take every opportunity to make a statement even when there is better times to do so. Please go plant a tree and then you may find that tress do not need as much water as you think right after being planted....in the rain.
I planted yesterday 2 trees an apple tree and a peach tree and I gave them a lot water. May sound constructed, but it has been raining all day :)))
And of course politican take every opportunity to make a statement, they are politicans it's what they do.
Sorry, that you think I'm not using my brain.
SO you went outside and planted those trees in the rain then got a watering can and poured more water onto those trees as it was raining......hummm alright ahahah....did you make sure that the hole you put those trees in was not smooth that it was roughed up so that it did not create a pot effect in the hole you made for those trees?
